I think i underestimated the strength of AMHDs compared to normal ancient dragons (or my 9-headed hydra, which is basically just an up-statted ancient red)

*I* resisted poison, and with my mount I was at +15 speed... but my mount didn't resist shit. The rainbow D just about instakilled it, causing me to drop from +15 to +0 speed and letting it double-turn me for the followup kill.

Cloning Pits quest went fairly well, though there was a bit of a scary moment near the start with the Father Dagon clones. Nothing dropped that I'm likely to actually use. There was one ring of rBase that got destroyed by a Gachapin clone chaos breath, the bastard. A lot of items were lost to those breaths...

Anyways didn't spend much on the quest fortunately, but didn't gain much except the guaranteed *healing* potions, which are safe in the house (regular healing is plenty with sacred vitality right now)

Bad mutations are depicted in color red and are displayed in the display mutations menu by pressing the capital a (A). I actually find the endgame of PCB quite enjoyable. It's the midgame stretch (28~44) which I find entirely too long and tedious.

No. You can do a lot more with NPC's including doing a support role RP by starting a farm, hoarding materials and dropping a bulletin board to get 30+ NPC's. Then get into your custom built APC with shuttered laser turrets. The NPC's will ride. Then you can doom wagon into the center of town at 300 mph from your 4 V12's with the shutters open and turrets firing. Turn off the engine and then you and your army will disembark your apc and begin to fuck zombies up until the game expends all its spawns on hordes or you're overwhelmed and killed. You'll be spamming bandages and throwing explosives to support your army of bolt and arrow chuckers. You haven't lived until the hulk corpses blot out the sun with your literal army fighting to hold the line.

Just fire up the in-dev and take it for a spin.

It is squishy as it is, but even versus shisa packs it can have some use (light and dark attacks guarantee it a gorillion turns at times, and at this point easg saints can do little more than slow it down). I usually have to pull it out even if it's a battle against things that don't have its weaknesses.

I am not so sure about any master shocker demon yet. In this run I managed to nab a profane impundulu in Anzu's sanctum with a silver offering (AFAIK they only spawn with two other demons there, and you have to kill three others within ten turns to recruit it). You might want to get shocking stab from a haietlik, which is good on a lot of demons, even those that don't favor magic much.

Given that I actually raised cunning some this run it could have been a good pickup. Warmth is good, yes. I'd say this run turned out to be one of my easier runs. I'm pretty sure a different demon with that very will o wisp's moveset could easily mulch many groups of enemies. The will o wisp clearly favors cunning and agility, and its stats at level 18 were this:

Strength: 22
Magic: 22
Vitality: 22
Agility: 40

The wisp lasted for so long thanks to quick dismiss. It was actually pretty useful versus light packs and could be healed efficiently; it was the electric-centered enemies that it wasn't safe to be around. Even then, it mulched rulers. I barely encountered any dark attackers.

End up blowing myself up on elec AoE's every time....

It was a typo.
Amusingly enough, I did lose the impundulu not too long after recruiting it. I revived it simply because of how powerful it was for that point of the game (it was profane-modified and had vigor siphon). Beyond that, my game went mostly smoothly and few of my demons were killed in battle.

What's your stat distribution? For a melee summoner I find that maxing vitality or maybe strength is usually the best. If you want good resists, getting kasha armor could be an early option, although you have the ice weakness to deal with. Also I don't see malleable as one of your abilities, you could probably drop block stun (or parry, although no parry would render block stun useless). But the way you died seems to be an ambush by an element you're weak to, which is just bad luck.

I decided to get my hands dirty and make my own branch of Poschengband.
