How do I look? Combined it with Brigadier arms/legs, seems to match pretty damn well. Should I change anything back to master's attire/loincloth stuff, or something else, or does this look perfect?

Make a list of all the mandatory bosses and enemies, then find the most efficient way to get 1m souls and any other requirements for getting to drangleic castle. You'll probably want to min max your build to bullshit levels so that you aren't handicapped in terms of sl and gear.

Actually there are a bunch of weapons that are slightly better at Heavy+4 than Raw+4, even at 18 str. Mace, Follower Spear, Millwood, presumably the clubs as well

I like all those games. One thing I'd say in defense of 2 and 3 is that once you're actually in a zone, there's more to explore, more levels, more routes, little buildings all over the place, etc. I mean, several DaS1 zones (which is probably my favourite game overall, by the way) are just open areas. Sometimes next to another large open area on a higher level (Darkroot, for example).

So tl;dr the complexity is found WITHIN the zones more in DaS2 and DaS3 whereas DaS1 has pretty damn simple zones with more interesting open connections.

Because it's the same developer who has always done DLC this way. They put end game directed DLC accessible early game because they want people starting NG+ etc to be able to access it quickly.

I did TOH at BL43 for my twink, doesn't mean it was aimed for that level. Souls DLC is usually aimed at around SL80, i.e the level most people are when they beat their first playthrough.

The bell never tolled and Champ was late because there was a current Dark Lord ruling who hid the firelink bell of that era within a painting so no one could rise to stop him.

There is a bell currently at Firelink Shrine because we led to the events that resulted in it's eventual return/replacement.

The very first alpha's/trailers of Dark Souls 3 had Firelink Shrine missing the bell in the tower. This was no accident, this was From forgetting and almost spoiling their own story before quickly fixing it. Painting was planned from the beginning, with the crow enemies showing up in extremely early concept art.


DLC2 will reveal that "Londor" is actually the old name for Lothric, and Yuria and gang are OG's of the old guard intent on resurrecting the Dark Lord. Kaathe really did die according to japanese voice over. We killed him, and we do so in DLC2.

The result of the end of DLC 2 will create the circumstances that lead to the beginning of DaS3 basegame. Soul of Cinder will turn out to literally actually be our DaS3 character in the "killed Kaathe, became OP as fuck" timeline. We can kill Soul of Cinder because we are them and can read their moves.

Every NPC in DLC2 will refer to our character as "The Red Knight" instead of ashen one and it will all come full circle.
