I'm usually BL40 before I even kill Amelia. If you don't lose echostains left and right, you make an ungodly amount of echos through the Woods, whereafter you can do Lecture Building and Nightmare Frontier where you make even more ridiculous amounts of echos.

Heavy Abyssals are only worth using with 50 Strength, and everything will be shit at 28 Strength compared to the Bloodletter and Chikage. Bowblade arrows, Reiterpallasch/Rifle Spear shots are really your only semi-worthy options but that's about it. Maybe get 10 Arcane to use a Flat Wheel. Or go 50/25 Skl/Blt without using the Bloodletter.

Any convertible weapon is good for Arcane, Cold Abyssals can bump a weapons scaling to S so it's more about choice. Fire weapons are better serrated for beasts, most people use a Bolt Saif for Kin, and Arcane is whatever. A serrated Bolt/Arcane weapon is good for fire-resistant beasts too.

Arcane and Bolt don't really come into play until late-game. Better to stick with Fire for a while.
