Each recipe is different and need 5x specific purple 290 recipes + 3x Artilonium and it's used to craft a "Paper Cube"
Then you open the Paper Cube and pray RNG Jesus you find the red recipe you want, crafting for example a Paper Cube from 5x Dagger can give you a red musket recipe :^)

Taking Pelt2 for this build is pointless because the Rim/Umbo Blow attributes require High Guard 5, which you can't get. That said, your other options are Highlander1, Sword2, or Hoplite1. Pick whichever is better for you, none if better than the other.

Murmillos are not DPSers, they're "bruisers". Tanky enough to survive with no/minimal support, but also capable of dishing out damage. It's excellent for PvP, but it can't beat a Doppel.

A Static Group isn't big enough to bring a Murmillo. Once again, nothing in this game requires a tank, the only challenging things PvE wise are DPS checks, there's no harm actually involved. If you're bringing a Pardoner, that means you're bringing a Doppel and a Dragoon.

Honestly I think if Barrier scrolls and Ausrine/safety zone were not retardedly OP people would run tanks in their groups. Making barrier unscrollable and moving the safety zone attribute to circle 3 cleric would go a long way toward making invincibility cheese less of a thing. Then they should make counterspell have a duration that scales with skill level instead of being a one point anti magic wonder, make ausrine have less duration, and probably do something to sterea troph as well. The only invincibility spell that's really "fair" is mackangdal because it's on a class that doesn't get much else and will kill you outright if you fuck it up.

The issue is that the game isn't made to have deep pve mechanics. PVE fights are a mess. You can't see anything, you can't dodge anything. You can't even have the simplest of pve mechanics: "don't stand in fire". You can't have any of that with a diablo-like camera and such unoptimised engine.

Precisely. The Strike hit scales with shield def, too. The attribute that improves one over the other is also very special: it's a +50% improvement on your raw attack, not at the end. Meaning that it works before DEF reductions. It's excellent if you have high attack.

Titanium ore drops from a few mobs that only spawn from Oracle's change spell. Dunno if it's "supposed" to but the mob that drops it is Cemetary Golem, you have to use resetting on it first but the drop rate is very high (like 25%).

To be honest, not 1 point. It's a skill where you absolutely need to go all-out on. If I didn't already have a Murmillo, I would absolutely attempt making a Hop3 based Murmillo. With that attribute, shield damage scaling, Spear Lunge and the 2.5x damage buff from the Shield, it would be a passable skill even in Rank8 content. I wish the animation was shorter, though.

Oh yeah, there's more. It does extra damage if you "Counter" an enemy attack. I am not sure how the timing works or how much it helps, but it does seem to do significantly more damage when it shows the Counter message when I use it. Maybe it's a +100% damage modifier or something? Nobody has gone down this route yet, you could be the first one.

the unusual part is his con, even for r7 content he did it wrong. too much con.

the tanking concept for fencer is the very high evasion coupled with a decent hp from con, swordsman higher base HP + swash's 25% 100% uptime + guardian's defense bonus

reaching a super high evasion even on plate set + guardian's defense or on a cloth set situation for magic mitigation while still keeping a great dodge rate is the best effective hp setup we had in the game, better than full con squire meme

now full con + murm helmet is the thing unfortunately. scutum stuff is enough to keep the aggro

Almost lvl 190 with mine. Counter seems to proc off of the monster's animation. Highest Synchro I've gotten so far was 14-15k in a mission with Lethargy up. Of course that's using a shitty shield, only 15% attribute and without the pierce/strike attribute on.
