Mob EXP is higher at base but the multiplier for Abbey is so big that every nuo gives almost 30% more exp than anything in Timerys not counting the fact that shit is really easy to kill.

IMO you should grind out Maven until you can card explore (or quest if you're masochistic) to lvl 330/317 (depending on what level you want.

Even if they add a 1000% ice neck, it'll most likely get the same treatment as agni and only give 200% for non Cryo spells. And even if Cryo gets a metric fuckton of extra dmg, it'll suck dick because of the lack of multihits, strong base modifiers, cooldowns and small AoE.

Only Krivis uses lightning dmg as a significant part of their build and Krivis doesn't need an agni clone to perform anymore.

if you consider that pike hits up to 4 hits and works very well with jp (kinda not true aoe since monster A can be hit by pike 1 and transfer it to monster B that dodge the pike 1 but took the 2 and 3 and share with every other mob). ice bolt has that 1.5% mod, snow rolling deals up to 17 hits. gust is also not that bad, main concern is a lack of %attribte.

I just feel that since amulet works on forced skills with a certain specific bonus, ice shards will be left unchecked and only ice wall contact damage will get the a bonus. and there's also isa rune, it will probably be separated modifiers to the base damage like qc being just a 450% instead of 600% with agni.

PD2 is decent, not broken. They're the new frost cloud but they don't scale as well with gear because no Quick Cast to 1.5x everything. The advantage in return is that they can heal people.

Knowing what you know today, if the server was going to have a wipe and a fresh start, what would you roll and why?

For me, I'd probably go with a diev3 oracle kabba inquisitor. Being special isn't actually any better than being the best, and they're just so godly in PVP that nothing really compares. That or a corsair1 fencer3, just for the style points. They look like a lot of fun.

Wipes are a blast. They even the playing field, they renew competition, often shuffle up guild membership/standings and allow you to try again with more knowledge and a new direction.

That being said, I would roll a cata still. I really like it and think it's pretty fun.

I might still be Templar, I might not. I'd cross that bridge when I came to it. Might even try my hand as a Open World PvP and Arena only guild leader, if I could get a hand-full of 5-6 people. We could probably war a bunch of people before they remembered to neutral up.
