I do. Enchanters are shit. The bombs they make are a fucking joke, they do damage equal to your physical + magical attack and have a 5 second cooldown (cost 2400 silver to make).

The Enchanter class feels like some kind of after thought. Like IMC needed to fill a space (since Taoist was originally a Wizard class) and had very little time to actually make a proper class.

Almost nothing they have is good and several of their abilities literally don't work at all.
Without Enchant Lightning and the Taoist combo, the class would have no purpose at all. But this combo is so stupidly specific, I've never seen anyone manage to pull it off.

They look almost exactly like a normal wizard attack. Only difference is that your character throws the attack rather than swings their weapon.

Enchant Lightning is literally 500 elemental damage and it turns neutral attacks to lightning element (except missile attacks unless they are skills).
If an Arde adds damage to it, then so does Enchant Lightning. It's exactly the same kind of damage.

I don't care about element changing, just that if it made each ball do 500 more per tick and if it makes shards do 500 more pet hit.

It seem like a pyro 3 with enchanter would be better than sage. Sage only makes 2 more balls but each ball would be doing like twice the damage of an additional ball with enchanter, so it'd be like having 6 balls but they'd actually cause damage to things. Plus the lightning attack would get boosted by joint penalty.

at level 15 and with DM and if they add a gem, that's like 1700 and then 2550 with links. That's like 153k extra damage with max attributes. And then that amulet comes into play, wherever it adds, without going into the link "feature" where it does way more damage.

Yeah, having had a lot of pyros, it's not really necessary to have 100% or even a high uptime. If you need it up that much, you're killing too slowly. That is, you're running in circles around it for minutes. It doesn't gain that much damage with levels either so it's kinda eh.

Firewall is pretty good skill and can hit flying, but it's shitty at less than the highest possible (15 doesn't give another section though, so 14 is a good place to stop.) It's optional though and you can take flame ground so you can circle enemies for 3 minutes and put the other points into something else. Don't even think about using fire wall less than 10.

10 fireball is basically enough for anything.

The link is worth more than the extra pyro circle. Even helps out people in parties.

Since the more you invested the more expensive was to invest on that again, you could use points on other shit. Which is, 100% different on tos, because the more you invest on something, the more you get. And even then, you don't have specific bonus at certain values, comparing it to RO is not a good comparison.

Not everything has to be about DPS. Summon type classes already use spr for defensive purposes. Boosting that a little and making summons a little better, investing spr to keep your summons alive would be a viable thing. Heck, let them gain hp from your con and crit from your dex too.

Spr could also increase the effect of enchant fire and lightning, and maybe the effectiveness of Cryo's shield attribute thing (maybe increase block instead of just more magic defense). They could also make non channeling magic use SP at a rate where they will run out easier and would benefit from having a larger SP pool or have channeling spells that take fixed sp instead of % sp.

Con is already a thing with animus, unless you transpose, and supports.

That's bullshit. Dex as an offensive stat has diminishing returns, much like how enhance attributes do, so investing some points when you've already secured a high crit chance might be a good idea. While str indeed has increasing returns, going full str means not only you're frail as fuck for not having hp from con nor evasion from dex, but it might not even be the best stat allocation for all builds, as dex has an impact on it.

Transcendence is what really fucked str in the ass, it shouldn't only increase weapon damage, but give that a smaller bonus and have it scale with str as well

Regarding the Pyro discussion: Pyro3 is more or less overkill. Hellbreath and the extra points in Fireball and Fire Wall aren't worth a circle. Oh sure an extra 20 hits from Fireballs if you're Linker3 is nice, but Fireball is only good with Link and if you link stuff in a party, everyone tries really hard to blow up your link instantly. So for any form of group content, Pyro3 is pretty much wasted. Really nice to solo with though.

Thaum makes for impressive numbers with Pyro, but outside of killing bosses solo, Thaum doesn't offer much to pyro. Swell Left Arm is obviously very nice and Swell Body will be great with Agni if you gear's good enough to burst stuff down. But Transpose is garbage without FF or a pocket healer and Swell Right Arm is a hell of a bad idea in 280+ content if you plan on using a dagger. Pyro is mostly a melee class or a very short range class and running around without a shield will get you killed. If you do run around with a shield, the defenses would obviously be very good.

Linker2 or 3 is required for Pyro2 or 3. Without Lnker2/3, you reach the hit limit almost instantly if you JP the Fireballs and will still break your own link in less than 5 seconds if you don't link the Fireballs.

Sage vs Enchanter mostly boils down to this: if you picked up Linker then go Enchanter for greatly increased damage/hit. If you didn't pick up Linker go Sage since killing your Link isn't a concern and you'll need all the extra hits possible to kill stuff without JP.

With this you can go with a Desmodus gem for an extra Fire Wall tile or go 14 Fire Wall and 1 Enchant Fire and not bother with the gem.

I was actually more interested in clapping+dm+sweep Wheel and Pear then convinction into god smash, but it seems without a hefty investiment on DEX it won't do any good. We need someone to try out the WHAT IS YOUR PROFESSION build. Instead of abusing Rodelero strike debuffs, you're using the High Guard attribute and Peltasta skills instead, with Finestra for guaranteed crits and Synchro Thrusting. Umbo/Rim Blow and Synchro Thrusting are C2 and 3 skills, meaning that you can get 90% attribute on them easily and cheaply. You'll want to have as much ATK as possible, a high refine weapon, and a high refine shield(Synchro Thrusting scales very well with Shield DEF).

All those skills have much shorter cooldowns compared to Rodelero skills. You get TWO leap moves, and you're not dependant on Strike Debuffs, unlike the Rodelero variant. The Hoplite C3 attribute versus medium also makes you a beast.

It's a vanguard good build that's guaranteed to work. You could drop 1 rank of Pelt in favor of 1 rank of Doppel, which would give you Deef5 and Cyclone5, at the cost of losing the ability to remove 100% of an enemy's armor, but I honestly don't think it' worth it.

it's the best for competition. skull swing do wonder for your team, but also for your adversaries. skyliner 5 + huge attack = huge for your rotation, it's a 200% t0 mod six hits skill with very fst animation, can fit in any rotation. crown 10 helps too, but it's more about damage. moulinet also enters into your rotation if you needed it. 1 point is enough.

Not taking Highlander3 means you lose the ability to remove the entirety of the enemy's armor, which is a huge boost for damage in Rank8 content. Not taking Barb3 means not getting a huge portion of the atk boost from Warcry. The reason why Highlander is that monsters right now have almost as much DEF as you can get ATK from Warcry, without the need to actually find 10 targets to Warcry on. Do not take Langort. The Casis Crista attribute does not influence it and you don't have Strike Debuffs, meaning it's useless.

Not taking Swashbuckling 15 as a Pelt3 at first will seem stupid at first, but remember that after Rank8 you'll never want to mob more monsters than a Lv5 Swashbuckling can handle anyway. You absolutely NEED Umbo/Rim Blows to be high level, because they've got +400% damage on top of +330% scaling.
