The assistants would mercilessly greytide, breaking into whatever department they actually wanted to play that round. warring over waifus, gloves, and toolbelts, half of them are dead within the first 10 minutes. By this time the two doctors in medbay have poured each other's cryo mixes on the ground while screaming at each other on top of a literal pile of corpses. Science is just a hole in the station, except for one man printing Pico manipulators at the autolathe in front of a line of 10 people. He does not speak to anyone, no matter how msny times the bell rings. Engineering are in atmos arguing over pipes, just as power goes out because nobody has set up the engine. A fight breaks out in atmos over this and one of them floods the starion with plasma. Cargo is barracaded and has more guns than armory. Security raids them , kills them out of self defense and forgets why they were arresting them and let's them go. They go back to brig shortly after, and spend the remainder of the round replying to ahelps.

Outsource
All of a department gets recruited by "outside sources" on the station after 30 minutes, all late joins to that department are autoed into this. Requirements are mid pop (20), 2 heads of staff, and 3 people minimum in that department.
Objectives:

>Steal x head of staff jumpsuit
>Steal y head of staff jumpsuit
Everyone in that field also has:
>Escape alive and free as well as assisting others in your field with this.
Each person is given one of the first three to complete.
Their head of staff gets a master uplink that gets 20TCs and will either be used to get your department items [or buy two balloons].

QM is the head for cargo and HoP is service. Assistants are excluded in this gamemode due to them not even working in the first place.

Everyone involved in today's drama is retarded.
Some admins escalated the problem rather than dealing with it, some of them treating it as a non-issue, and SOMEONE consistently unbanned Celt after he continued to spam several users.
Cluster escalated by spamming admins when they didn't resolve it.
Celt has always acted like a 12 year who needs attention, so no surprise there.

Some of the admins are still treating it like it was never an issue, even. But he seems to consistently try to create drama out of nothing to irritate the coders, myself included.

I'm so tired of dealing with drama like this. I like our code and I like a lot of our players but this is just ridiculous. The fact that many of the admins don't know how to deal with a problem properly and instead just escalate it for fun is the single worst thing that I've seen today.

Not all the admins are this way. I know Niggly tried to de-escalate, along with a few others. But admins like Kolith just made it worse despite that.

What systems are in place to hold admins and coders accountable? What avenues did opposing sides had, and we're they effective or did they fall on deaf ears? If so why, and what can be done to fix it?

Regardless of who is really in the wrong, I am making an educated guess that everything was handled poorly, and that there isn't much holding the administration and coders accountable for their actions. Issues should never turn into drama. Respect needs to be maintained and ideas for resolution debated and decided upon as quick as possible.

The setup allowed us to refill two very large rooms instantly. The only noted downside are the glass panes, which are easily fixed by just fucking putting a wall there.

Over-pressurizing distro only has two drawbacks :
1. Making modifications to distro slightly harder, any competent atmos tech can work around that, also prevents people with no access to socket wrenches from fucking with distro by connecting it to waste, disconnecting areas of the station or venting it into space.
2. Allows antags to over-pressurize a room by hacking an air alarm. Something that never happens.

Many will be here for fun, other will take it very seriously, and whine the second something happen to their snowflake. By doing exactly what an antag would do if they wanted to over-pressurize a room. Unlock the air alarm, go to vents tab and either increase the desired pressure (they act faster the furthest they are from their target) or change the pressure check to internal and input 0 kpa, making them shit out air even faster. Monitor the room pressure with the air alarm and click reset when it's refilled. Takes about 20 to 30 seconds to completely fill a room the size of Deff's SME room.

To get plasma out of distro there are two very easy ways. First, make sure plasma doesn't get in distro. That setup doesn't connect to the mixing line and is completely independent, you can just disconnect the pipes leading to the plasma miner if you want to be really sure. Second, filter arrays, very easy to do. Takes 5 minutes to set up a decent one. If you want to be extra safe, then a venting array connected to the AAC and a pipe meter. If it detects plasma it just dumps the entire distro into space, with a decent array, it wouldn't take long. Keep in mind any of those methods are just as useful with any distro setup, not just this one.
