Besides t3 BBs, thase actually not true anymore. A t4 BB with max skills actually can shoot down half a t4 TB squadron on the approach. It only gets better the higher you go. From t6 and t8 on, BBs that aren't even AA specc'd just shit on CVs. T9 and t10 CVs can shit on BBs like they are supposed to, even if AA specc'd, but will lose most of the strike squadron on that attack on a solo BB.

And let's not forget despite the current bullshit implementation of fires, cruisers, the firestarters themselves, actually suffer the most from it. Battleships have enough of a health pool to tank it and heal it back and destroyers have a short enough damcon cooldown to where fires never burn their full length. Cruisers neither have the damcon cooldown nor the healpot until T9 and T10, and even then they have fewer healpots than an equivalent tier battleship.

The fact that battleships take the most raw damage from fires is actually largely irrelevant since all of it can be healed back. Despite how it feels to be on fire, AP rounds from other battleships are far more threatening.

No this is completely non-sequitur. The game's balance between ship classes and tiers is not on par with the rest of how the damage mechanic works

are the supercontainers based on what option you picked? like if you get one with the credits option you're more likely to get the 10m credits, or is it irrelevant and once you get a supercontainer it just selects from a single pool of stuff unrelated to how you got it?
