Yeah, I don't really find A9S "boring", per se, but it's definitely extremely easy and extremely simple. That's not necessarily a bad thing for the first fight in a tier, but it isn't going to be scratching many peoples' itch for challenge or team coordination.

10 actually has a shitload of mechanics, but (almost) none of them are unforgiving of failure and usually only the person who fails a mechanic dies because of it.

11 is a big step up from the previous two and demands a lot more out of the group in terms of mechanical performance, and would actually be a pretty hard fight if the DPS check wasn't extremely low.

12 is basically just T13 all over again, with some of the Coil/Bahamut-themed elements replaced with Alexander-flavored stuff. It's fairly tough to do right now, but is going to become much, much, much easier the more gear people get.

To start learning, watch carefully when the tank takes damage. If he does a big pull, wait and see how long it takes before heals actually become required, as if you heal too early, it'll be wasted + mobs might peel off.

If you're a SCH, precasted adlo is always good, but once the tank stops and starts aoeing, that's when he'll be taking a lot of damage. If he's using CDs well, you shouldn't have to do much, but just start by staying out of Cleric until you're absolutely sure the 10s cooldown on it won't screw you over.

You'll get better with time, don't worry too much
