Lore is great to explain why the fuck you can't summon a fucking proper garuda.

You're using your own personal aether to make that summon. Personal aether is extremely limited in the same reason only a few people can become summoners and thats why you need a bunch of corrupted crystals to be able to summon a being as big as enkidu.
But using corrupted crystals will tap into hydaelyn and that's against WoL and the scions principles.

Finally someone who gets it. I have no idea why people are associating her and what she did with aether to be Red Mage related. She doesnt adhere to game mechanics and classes. Someone like her can probably turn her aether into anything or any type of weapon, which isnt something you normally associate with all RDMs in the series. Plus the statement about all schools of magic is such a vague and blanket statement. She is just implying she has tried all sorts of magic out to see what works for her, which is what any normal person can do in the story and many have done. SE just released their quartly report and in it they announced that the next expansion would have a total of $35 million allocated to the base game. That 3 times what Heavensward base game was.
