Shit new player here, I have several questions about Genetics.

I tried geneticist after successfully playing roboticist and making a borg after getting an assistant to come help me with "science." it only took me one stab (apparently setting the scalpel to harm is wrong) and five failed incisions to begin surgery!

I wanted to give things super powers since no one ever came into my office and whined about cloning (it was an odd round, I'm still not sure what happened binky if you're reading this why did you clone me back to life, throw me into a locker, and drag me into an escape pod only to kill me later?)but all I managed to do was make a monkey twitch. I tried following the guide but it was fucking useless.

This was probably the easiest one to figure out. It also taught me to stand outside of the airlock when the mining shuttle is docking if I dont want to get splinched into a billion body parts.

wiki is kinda outdated on genetics, monkeys got 55 blocks now. the last block is the one that turns them to humans if it is under 801 i think. over 801 and it will be a monkey again. other than that experiment by setting the blocks over 801 and see if the monkey got powers/disabilities and mark the stuff in the console. you can use mutagen on monkeymen and then mark all blocks over 801 because these are very often disabilities
