The fire visibly burns as long as it has mol or so left of fuel. Just suck it in and after about 30 seconds it's about as done as it's going to be if you're using a set amount of fuel. If it ever feels weird, just use a couple of the empty canisters to take off some gas until it evens out or pda scan the section of pipe before the gas pump to see if there's a significant difference.It's more important to spark the igniter as soon as you get visible plasma in the burn chamber than anything cause you get an interaction where you're adding combusted gas which is donating its energy to uncombusted gas until it ignites which drops it a little.

A good way to uncuff a criminal when you are done taking his shit and giving him a prisoner jumpsuit, is to get a stun baton, prod the prisoner, then uncuff him with it (When stripping you will have a message saying "x is trying to put a baton in x", relax, you will be just taking the cuffs)

Actually everything is pretty safe if you follow the wiki guide word for word.

That being said on my first engineering shift I exploded the AME and released plasma in engineering, then lost all my spaghetti and logged when I got bullied by an admin.

That reminds me, here's a tip: Always fill up your plasma tanks for singulo/SME and always ALWAYS make sure the canister is closed before taking out the tank.
