The cops walking through walls is probably a failure of the engine rather than the AI.

The way the AI is coded is that there are waypoints all along the map that they walk to. That's why it looks like they're always standing on the same spots on the map all the time - because they are.

The problem with walking through walls comes when there is something causing desync so instead of pathing from A B C around a corner for example, the clients see that the cop was at point A and then point C but missed point C so they animated the cop moving through A->C. Sometimes OVK fucks up and has a programmed path to go through a wall but those aren't relevant to the fact that theoretically correct paths still cause cops to walk through walls.

The other sad part is where the walking through walls happens even though you're the host. That's just because sometimes cop actions bypass standard movement behaviour and dick with the pathing manually themselves so a cop might be walking from A->B but then something makes him re-evaluate what to do, *THINKS* that he's already on B, and then moves straight to C. Walking through walls isn't just an AI problem, it's a fundamental pathing problem.

Amusingly I haven't seen an allied bot walk through a wall or clip through stairs, etc. in years so clearly the allied bots have some sort of sanity checking done for their pathing that prevents them from walking through walls unlike cops.

which firearms (and firearms only) are still good? I used to take 40dmg weapons on old DW for added challenge, but I'm getting my ass handed to me on OD.

Can somebody explain to me why whenever it says I earned 0 coins I get one but when it says I earned 1 coin I get none? This is confusing me.

Run Jewelry Store on DW Stealth. You can do it from lvl 0 now. That'll throw you to about lvl 35~, then go jump in Hox Out OVK (IIRC that's the highest Hox Out available at that time) or do other stealth heists.

Took me about 4 hours, including failing stealth many times like a bitch, to reach 100 again. Did have +30% XP from infamy and +25% stealth bonuses.

Once the visor is off and if you're running a shotgun build, primary shotguns like Breaker or Mosconi usually 1-shot bulldozers on DW, so there's no point in "sustaned DPS"

Although now HE rounds are probably not that useful since they don't stun anymore

Some have unique lines. Jacket will play lines about Sokol's hockey team if you're using Sokol, and Houston can tell you that he never thought he'd meet a Russian he liked. If you're Jacket, Sokol can threaten to take your tape recorder away, and the butler can ask where you get all those recordings. Wolf and Rust's are just taken from their pager lines, though.

Agree desu. What need is more gimmick guns with special traits, in the vein of the poison kunai or taser. Like a 5.7 pistol that's weak (like the Gruber used to be) but ignores armor like a sniper. Actually, the gun didn't have a method to reload it on the one remaining prototype we actually have seen in real life.

The gun needed to be disassembled to be reloaded. But this was just an early prototype, the gun never went into full production.

Should I put a sight on my Swedish K?

On one hand it would make it easier to aim the damn thing compared to the stock irons, but every sight looks ugly as sin on the thing. I think this is the one that looks the least ass.

How is the Bren SMG from the biker DLC? Been considering it. Does it get stats comparable to the Swedish K? Are there any other SMGs that are in the same range as this gun? I find I like it a lot.

Overkill is playable because of Overkill's own fuckup. Tans got a health boost but Greens didn't (400-500 and 80 respectively, I'm serious), all the specials got MASSIVE health boosts

The other difficulties are unplayable on loud without the Chivalry Pack and a special perk deck, let alone One Down. If you want to stealth them, knock yourself out, they fixed the guards having insane health when alerted

What they did NOT fix is domination now being 100 % impossible in stealth (only health factor works now), so that's fucked

Because Overkill doesn't know how to balance, ICTV is a death sentence. Furthermore, you really shouldn't be investing in ICTV perks when you're gonna go ace your medkits, then grab Inspire, then deck a non-specialized weapon build (nothing buffs bow and arrow outside of the skills that allow you to shoot and reload when sprinting and moving full speed while ADS)
