the problem is that csgo isn't a casual game (even more so because you can basically only queue ranked mm) and has unforgiving mechanics, so a ton of players quit the game because they weren't owning like when they play CoD or whatever. a ton of them also jumped ship to overwatch or whatever because you can't expect casual gamers to play the same game for more than few months

I wish Valve would make a Steam Card game, using the existing trading cards. It would be so simple:

- Choose some trading cards and give them abilities. (i.e scout from tf2, siren from borderlands, tiny from dota, portal gun, something from Dark Souls 3, random grenade from a call of duty, etc.)
- People with a badge on level 1-2-3-4 can use that number of copies from any card inside that particular badge. People with a foil badge get their copies in foil.
- Publishers/Devs have no problems with the system because they are making money of it from steam market.

He's about to get 5k. Period. He deserves it. It's obviously not random. The question is rather how he gets it.
For example, right now he's playing disputer. He didn't ward at all early game, even though the enemy has a roaming bounty hunter. He pulled about 4 camps in lane early game and only got 2 cs from it. He let his carry die in lane and then proceeded to passive aggressively flame him for a bit. Then he went bot and feed the enemy Slark. He rushed soul ring and used it twice by minute 12. His skill bill was maxing Q, then W, then E. (He didn't have any points in E when he used his Ulti first time). He uses zero hotkeys for items. He literally clicks on the item porrait. His item build was to rush Ghost vs tide, WW, slark, bounty. Whenever he farms a lane of creeps he tends to only get 1 or 2 cs out of the wave.
So why is he 5k? Serious question. Maybe his presence just makes his team feel relaxed? Maybe it's because he's not afraid to push at all and he can lead his team in doing so?

Now you have a farmed Necro, which presumably is your position 1 hero. What can he do that other heroes cannot? You can, after Radiance, get an Aghs, get a fast lvl 16, everything is well and good. But can you outcarry an AM or Morphling? Presumably you'd get it before they come online, but wouldn't it be better to give all of that space to someone that can actually still apply pressure and maybe even manfight those heroes even if things go wrong, such as an Alchemist or Naga?

Disabling buybacks is really good, Reaper's Scythe is really good, but if you don't close out the game fast enough or hell, even get that radiance fast enough, now you have a mediocre scaling position "1" hero.

Not counting boots, that's 14550 gold. 485 GPM by 30 minutes.
You now have the ability of deleting two players from the enemy team (if they ever get below 50% HP), cool.
A Naga with 14550 gold can farm the same amount of gold faster, pressure the map better and contribute more to team fights even if you use that gold to buy Radiance, Manta, BoTs and two thirds of a Diffusal.

Of course that Reaper's Scythe is good Anon, but that shouldn't be the only reason to pick a hero, mainly when AM/Alch comes online so quickly, Morph can just splitpush your immobile ass around, Naga can do Naga stuff, Jugg can Omni to get some more damage in, and that's all without considering if the enemy team is even going to bother with Glimmer Capes or Pipes.

I'm not saying it won't work, I'm saying that it's hard to affirm "A fast Radiance is good on [hero]! On 30 minutes they will have 15k gold!" like it wasn't obvious and something people should try to do.
