Not kidding either, it has the least amount of base points in Int and Luck, both of which will be useless to you. The Dex you might need because of minimum requirements for certain weapons. Plus it starts with a 100% physical block shield which makes the start of the game somewhat easier.

If you actually want the Luck and don't care about Dex or Int, then Herald.

I got a cleric's sacred chime as a drop in the first starting area. How lucky am I?

I've been trying to use Avelyn to punish Estus chugging, but is not working very good.

Earlier in the week we were discussing whether or not you can defeat the Crystal Sage with the poison spore WA of the storytellers staff. I did it last night. It is patched, the poison gets cured when the 2nd phase begins, but its almost effortless to reapply. However, it cured again when it got to a sliver of hp. It didnt seem like the poison timer ran out on its own either but idk. So yea, 2 storytellers WA and a throwing knife did the trick. Was pretty fun dodging and parrying spells while waiting for the poison to kill it.

if you want, you can also check if you can still cheese some bosses with Hidden Body+Pestilent Mercury, because you were able to do that on release and i know that Hidden Body still works on some of them

Pestilent Mercury doesn't count as an attack and it doesn't aggro them - if you cast it near them they walk towards it and take damage. if you're too close they will probably aggro though

I was pointing out that "twinks" in Dark Souls 3 have to go through more shit in exchange for much shittier benefits than they would in the other games because your Estus is gimped to half the heals,you have a 30% health loss,weapon memery and the game prioritizes gank squads AND has autosummon covenants. None of these are bad individually, but stacked together they are a major balance issue and the hosts have a nerve to cry about "twinks" being cancer. I don't think invaders should have the advantage in game mechanics, but it's absurd how people cry about "twinks" when the host can roll with 3 passworded phantoms with endgame gear.

So if I make an Aldrich character, I can mainly adopt any playstyle as long as (dark) magic is involved?

Still, invaders are usually better than the host. Invaders have the considerable large advantage in skill and preparation.

The people that just jump into invasions from time to time with no preparation can only blame themselves if they die.

Now that I think of it, the lower threshold for REO as you say, is a BIG problem. Another big factor in the complaining is that people are so used to steamrolling the host and summons in the other games. Oro is a great example. That shitter can't stand losing at all.

They are extremely good for ng invasions. Greathammers especially are newfriend killers as they guardbreak like moterfuckers and stunlock host and his butt buddies at once. Axes are fun to use and butcher's knife has very wide swings, godly for invasions as well.

Got Black Serpant, Black Flame, BFO and GCFB attuned.
Can land Serpant and Flame most of the time but my Fireballs never seem to hit, with or without lockon.
They're just too easy to rollspam.

It's a good greatsword for an INT build, the R2 beams are shit however and it is reliant on HA trading like every greatsword.

The Wolf Knight GS is actually better then the Farron GS since the Farron only reaches 500 AR on a quality build while Wolf Knight is the second highest pure physical AR greatsword right behind the Black Knight at 540. It's also reliant on HA trading but the WA R2s can be fun.
