You can aim in extreme vertical downwards or upwards in DaS2 but nothing inbetween. In Demon's, DaS1, DaS3 and BB you can aim anywhere your camera is which I appreciate.

It's all down to mouse look or right analog stick.

Never tried them? You should practice for a while, the chip damage can be regened and you should only not tank stuff you can dodge without fail, specifically, vestiges and fireballs, those do a lot of stamina damage.
I refuse to use snake because it's not a good spell, but the tracking gets fucked by the online making you dodge it when you shouldn't and vice versa, but you should always be able to reliably tank a serpent hit, put the shield down, then flee from other serpents. Just remember that shields should always stay down and only be raised when you got stamina and not against melee pyro attacks. Always run away locked on with the shield from serpent to make them waste FP

God the wait for the DLC would be so much more bearable if they actually patched the game at a decent rate in the meantime.

Is the bare minimum to be considered dynamic lighting, a lightsource should create shadows and variations depending on the direction of the light. NOT A SINGLE AREA in DS3 does this. Torches in DS3 does not create shadows on world objects. Torches in DS2 not only create shadows, but the direction in which the torch light is coming from. So fucking get back to plebitt with your consolebaby mind.

Also this effect was caused by multiple lighting actors and the game's shadow lighting system that is also in Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3. They activate as per design by the creator to achieve this lightning storm effect.

Also fun fact the rain stops way before it hits the ground.
