It's not. A levy from the European line has different stats, armor, and weapons than a levy from the Greek line. In Geko every troop tree is identical, they wear different colored armor with the same stats and weapons.

you can only build a manor if you own a village or town, and they're tied to that town
it's ideal if you get a village that's tied to a town since you can eventually make a castle that ties to that village instead of the town, and the town gets a new village

so basically lance recruitment recruits "lances" which are groups of units, they tend to comprise of lots of shitter units, a good amount of med units, and a few elite units, usually a lance is around 25-30 men per
you can also recruit mercs in lances which tend to have better stats than their non merc counterparts (till top tier) but don't rank up and usually have mediocre equipment
you can also disband your lances, which will "store" your men in fiefs without having upkeep, generally you want to do this during times of peace and then recruit them in times of war
also about mercs, if your character is a merc (which they are if you aren't a vassal or king) then mercs are significantly cheaper to hire and maintain

and then you build a manor attached to the village for 10k
if the village is attached to a town and NOT a castle, you can eventually build a castle that is attached to the village
but you have to get ALL of the upgrades for your village AND your manor

What's the point of Dickplomacy? Your honor and relations get tanked into fucking oblivion and you have to ambush peasant parties just to get women for the brothel, or worse you have to conquer a place, refuse the ransom, and force a noble into prostitution just for a measly 200 coins a week. The ransom is worth more than that even if you don't consider all of the downsides. Hell, more often than not the +1 honor is worth more than the ransom.

Anyone know what the best troop in ACOK 2.2 is?

I have a bunch of unsullied since they're relatively cheap and have excellent power strike but their armor is shit and they have no ranged weapons.

I came across these Qohoric Guardsmen and while their non-body armor is lacking, they are equipped with shields, blunt weapons, and longbows all while wearing heavy plate armor. Their stats are also pretty decent compared to other troops.

Has anyone found a better stock troop than this? I'm considering trying to build an army of just these guys and then shoving them all in a castle or bringing them with me to capture prisoners.

Also : They had a temporary exposition where you could wear real pieces of armor. Very interesting. The only things vaguely of my size were a mail shirt. 2 breastplates. a pair of 16th century gauntlet, a greathelm and a bascinet.
Mail is actually pretty fucking heavy. Though once you have it on your shoulders it is kinda ok. You feel like you're gonna get tired fast though.

What are the chances that wrestling becomes a thing and daggers are relevant in Bannerlord?

Whenever I see a person covered head to toe in steel I can only think of 2 ways to kill them.

1. Bash them over the head with a hammer or other blunt object until they fall unconscious.
2. Pin them down and slide a dagger through their visor

absolute none to answer your question.
Now, we could think of modding in, if moddability is as good as they promise, a mechanic that amplifies the chances of knockdown by blunt objects when wearing heavy armor, and a very short drawing (is that the right word) time for daggers that will get an exceptional boost at damage if the target is knockdowned and in heavy plate
But since we'll mostly NOT see plate armor in BL I think there is no need for such a mechanic

The module_items.py decompiled but when I tried to compile I got syntax errors. I found out wa causing those, an item had a ")" in it's name thanks chink assets. So I removed the ")" and it gave me normal "wont compile" errors. I never bothered after that.

I did manage to get the new races to actually be female instead of (Male) but remembered I don't care about playing a girl or the people that play girls and never bothered to implement them.
