Sombra won't look like this. She can't look like this. Why? Because anyone who knows anything about character design knows that in a fast paced game like this, character silhouette is very important. Each character needs to have a very distinctive silhouette, along with distinct clothing, so players can tell who's who at a glance even at longer distances. There is a reason each character has a very different body type and posture, because artists knew that each character needed to be very visually distinct from one another.

If Sombra looked like how she is often represented, she would be too difficult to differentiate from Reaper, who also wears a long, flowing black coat and skull mask.

The matchmaking in this game is fucked.

10 placement matches is a terrible way to determine initial rank because the sample size is too small; get carried twice and you'll end up 1000 higher than you should be.

There aren't enough games in a season to equilibrate rank after placement, either, so you'll just go up and down around the same rank with only a minor trend showing where you should be heading.

You could even do it on a couple of Payload maps. Have a three man team start off on Offense, with each of the other three teams Defending one of the payload checkpoints. And each time a payload reaches its checkpoint, the guarding heroes have to choose to either defend the next point or defect to Offense.

Think of yourself as a buff/debuff hero.

You usually don't heal fast enough to be the difference between life and death, so just think of your healing orb as a health regen buff, giving it to the people who will need it rather than the people who NEED it. Use your orb if discord to debuff critical targets like tanks and healers. You also do a lot of damage so whenever your not managing your orbs you should be attacking from well behind the safety of your tank.

Finally, use your ult to initiate pushes, whether they be into contested objectives or through chokepoints.
