Hi /lisg/! After the positive feedback from the /lisg/ sings Glass Walls. We are going to do another.
We are going to be singing Obstacles now. Since it won the strawpoll.

Use Audacity or something, there are plenty of programs that do this. If you don’t have a mic just use your phone. Try singing the whole song in 1 go. This makes it easier to edit. Make sure it is JUST YOUR VOICE. No song in the background.
Last time there were a few that were in but they were super quiet. If your mic is super low volume try to use your phone as well or just get a better mic, how can anyone even hear you.

Those pictures are the aftermath of the storm. It hit the town and then dissipated as all Tornadoes do (Although technically the storm is a waterspout since it formed over water).
There's no telling how much destruction occurred further inland but from what's seen in Arcadia Bay's business area, the damage is not very extensive.

Your confusion is however understandable as the damage is practically the same as it was before the tornado hit the town -that is, when we visited the diner for the photo.

If you mean them as daughter and mother healing their relationship, you should have them talk about William. I get the feeling that they have not had a real and heartfelt talk in a while.
Let Chloe talk about how hard things were for her and how she felt like Joyce just wanted to forget William and move on, let Joyce tell Chloe how much she misses William and keeps whatever reminders of him, as well as how that Joyce really does love David. Then have them talk about Chloe; how strong she's had to be after William, Max, and Rachel as well as how happy she is now that Max is back.

Make it emotional and show both of their sides. Show how they had disagreements in the past but still love each other.

I find it amazing how Chloe was never mad at Max. Even though they both could have picked up the phone, Chloe does have some legitimate reason to feel annoyed. But she isn't.
Everything about "You left me" is over with after a few minutes. That's how quick they resolve things and then by the second day together, both Chloe and Max know they won't make that same mistake again and that they will stay together. By the end of the week, both of them realize they have feelings for each other (Or perhaps they have for some time).

But Max would feel infinitely more guilt if she let Chloe die and had to go through everything along. I do not think she would survive very long.
Plus the storm was just a storm, going by the damage that we see it means very few people died.
Max helped as many people as she could, but at the end she decides she has given enough and does something for herself for once. There is nothing wrong with that and nothing to feel guilty for.

The Bay ending is the end for Chloe, Max, Joyce, and David. Seeing as how the player was following and acting as Max, that's absurd to doom yourself and those closet to you.
That's not heroic, that's insane. Max is not some messiah and should not be expected to act like one.

That hate has literally fueled months and months of posting. Not easy to break down. The contrivedness and unelegance in how they brought the story to an end, and how unnecessarily hopeless the end seems are primary sources of my aversion. The less prevalent stories and side plots not being brought to satisfying conclusions is another. And there's plenty more specific concerns, ranging from tonal, pacing and characterization issues to just factually and logically questionable aspects of the finale, specific scenes and themes. I think it's best summed up in a sense of disappointment, a "feeling of loss over what could have been and what the series seemed to be full of promise with".

Parts of Episode 5 have also fueled months and months of dedication and discussion, and there's undoubtably things they did good and right there too. It's just that "Episode 5" represents an alienating experience for most here at best, and it's hard to associate it with positive things when there's a lingering sense of perplexion, irritation, frustration.

Watching a video on the easter eggs and there's a license plate referencing the film another earth. I wonder if the double moon episode (and maybe the unpredicted eclipse, as an astronomical impossibility) was inspired by the movie.

I agree. Her history of having fooled around with boys (to whatever extent) indicates that she definitely used to be into guys. Even if it had to do with being rebellious, pissing David off and looking for relationships, she could have also gone to girls with that (and maybe she did - she does say "boy toy phase among other things"). Anyway. We see her act all natural throughout the game - she does not have tumblr-tier convictions, that's utter projection. Their opinions are just that. The people involved have proven time and again that they are not the end-all-be-all to the characters or story, and to their credit, have never claimed to be either.

While there's definitely something in the game unique to dontnod and the people involved, the game very much grew beyond them too - there's something emergent especially to the characters that they hardly could have planned for. Probably one of the reasons why ultimately the conceptionalized finale to the narrative didn't end up working so well at all.

What that anon was arguing is that the game gives reason to believe it possible for her to be into both guys and girls.
