Something I never understood, if everything is basically just a 1:1 in this why is elemental attack valued higher than m.att/p.att? Like both would apply to each hit so wouldn't they all just add 1 damage regardless?

Hop Corsair is actually a pvp build where you hook then use hop skills, although it's inferior to cata, if you're only rank 5 you can do dopple into dragoon 2 for the almost meta PVE build, otherwise you have to ask someone else for PVP

Reroll and go Cryo1 instead if you want to be a chronolinker.

By going Pyro you get some shitty damaging spells that will fail to kill even rank 4 mobs instead of CC and the amazing Cryo passive, which is 125% of your shield defense is translated to Magical defense, allowing you to be the best class at tanking magic.

Mostly Cryo3 is better when the number of mobs you have to kills is more than 8.

At R8 however you'll be able to go Linker3 on Cryo1Linker2, giving you 100% uptime on Lifeline, which will be really strong.

Literally the only overpowered PVP classes in Cleric are Kabbalist and MAYBE oracle if you're really autistic about your debuff. Diev is fine, ausrine can be rushed down and played around. Rank 7 and rank 8 has shown a trend in which monster pdef scales far faster than STR gains from levels or extra base/enhance dmg on weapons.

What does this mean for STR vs DEX? Well if you go full DEX and you don't have armor ignoring abilities, your low level multihit skills will start to suffer, badly.

Full DEX A2/Falconer trying to use Multishot against a mob with 1000pdef? The mob will enjoy tickle time. Full STR A2/Falconer trying to use Multishot against a mob with 1000pdef? Way better damage. The reason for this is that the mob defense is factored in before every other multiplier.

You have 500patk from levels + random bits of str/gear and you have a 1000patk bow. You Multishot10 (161 dmg) a mob with 1000pdef, your damage will be (661 * 1.5 for crit + elemental damage) * attribute modifier. So you'll be critting for somewhere along the lines of 2000-2500. Pretty pathetic.

Instead of pure DEX, the A2/Falconer has 800 STR. Damage now becomes 2800+ on a non crit.

But that's only if you don't have armor ignoring abilities. Again, if the trend continues, this will be a HUGE deal because some of the 300+ mobs have gained a large amount of pdef over their 250-280 counterparts.

Translation: for rank 8 STR vs DEX doesn't matter too much still because mob pdef hasn't power creep'd that high. But when mobs get 1k or 1.5k or 2k pdef, multihit skills without high amounts of STR (or even INT for casters) will become useless if the build doesn't have some sort of armor reduction/ignoring ability attached to it. Skull Swing and Attaque Coquille become a hell of a lot more attractive for DEX builds with that in mind.

Multishot was a nice scaling skill, but it has no place on the Rank8 big kid's game. 1000 pdef nothing when skills have 7k~15k base damage. Having STR there mitigates the issue, that wasn't big to begin with.

It's give and take, if they're both equally attributed then wugus will win the dps race in missions on golem and tree just because of poison weakness. Fletchers are usually more invested in though so usually can beat wugus. Also the thing with wugu is you can fire your AIDS dart and it doesn't rely on the mob/boss standing still.

For now STR vs DEX doesn't matter much. But in the future, it'll be something to consider FOR CERTAIN MULTIHIT SKILLS because of how damage is calculated and how monster pdef works. Armor ignoring skills will be far more valuable to keep multihit skills from becoming worthless if they have low base damage or when used in DEX builds.

So if your build relies heavily on a multihit skill for its damage - like say A2/Falconer3, then you're gonna do basically little to no damage once you start fighting mobs with really, really high pdef.

Wugu attributes don't scale like you think they do, in fact they hardly scale at all. Fletcher is not just magic arrow either, broadhead also does extra damage to poison weak enemies, DMA is crazy on plate armor and barbed arrow is one of the strongest filler skills, even on plate targets which are strongest to it. You also get steady aim bonuses, flare shot, etc. Fletcher is unbeatable because it can stack so many skill tics on an enemy and then spam barbed arrow on top of all that.

It's +1 slash defense per star. A lot of cards are completely fucking worthless. Firelord is 10% proc chance for +1 fire elemental damage per star. So once rank 15 is released, having 15 Firelord cards at rank 10 will be almost as good as having a arde dagger. On bosses. With a 10% proc rate for a 10ish seconds buff (which is at the very least on the second row). I'd still keep 1 copy of each harder to acquire card around, just in case.

tried it with pvp, every wolf skill is physical, meaning level 305+ players will dodge that shit, the skills are nice with pve especially with the taunt/aoe but you will doing less damage compared to just using magic.

tldr, if youre an INT druid, dont expect much with Lycan, Henge would be your thing as it doubles your m.atk, point is, you wont be doing ridiculous r8 damage with the wolf itself, sad to say, its still carnivory you would use for DPS

It's cool that if for instance you have 4k phys and your poison does 4k +2k (100% attribute) tics, but if you had any other skill you could have (4k + 1k) x2 (100% attribute) tics and it could also crit.
