CP gain between levels does shrink percentage wise but that shouldn't mean you get less per power up since half the percentage at lv 30 should still be more than whatever you get at lower levels. Maybe a dip right after 30.

I'm so used to leeching lures that I have no idea how nests work so I'm missing some specific pokemon for evos, how do they work? how much time does it take for them to spawn another pokemon?

Nests are just a cluster of multiple spawns for the same Pokemon. Timers probably differ between spawns.

All my local spawns were 24 hour though since they all show up around the same time period every day. Doesn't mean the other nests will be 24 hour though but they should be showing up at least once a day.

seems that a waste of dust after 30 for so minimal reward.
ie: I have a level 24 rhydon that's already at 1600 CP when is max is like 2200. By level 30 he should have like 1900, missing only a remaining 300 that will cost like 150k stardust and a bunch of candy.
But since pokemon on the wild also cap at level 30 it might render buffing pokemon below 30 useless because you might find something better to evolve from the wild.
So it all boils down to having a good moveset and maybe IV too if you are autistic enough for powering up pokemon.

After three weeks, I am now halfway to completion.

I accidentally burned a free incubator so I'll have to save 450 coins for incubators instead of 300 for when the time comes.

Too bad I hatched like 2-3 10km eggs before I understood their value otherwise I'd be almost done already. Alas.

Maybe Gen II can introduce berry trees (or do it in Gen III) and also acorn trees.

Acorn trees were the fucking shit in Gen II. I autistically collected 99 of each ball and acorn back when my Crystal's battery still worked. That was my proudest achievement in Gen II instead of getting all 251 Pokemon.

It's dead for my area. There's a really popular shopping area that has a bunch of stops and gyms, all the teens and shit hang out there. I had people doing laps with me and hanging out at a 4 pokestop area as late as 3am on a weekday. Now I'm lucky to see 1-2 people at night/late evening. Haven't seen a lure in a week+. Also, try switching your GPS settings to GPS-only instead of GPS+wifi+mobile networks and maybe it'll stabilise more. No guarantees. Helps me with gyms that sit next to cell towers though or college campuses with wifi nodes everywhere.

I'm not arguing the the game isnt incredibly flawed, but its still the best phone game I've played, and at least where I live its not unreasonable to get 3 or 4 gyms a day if I try for it
1 near my house will often hold for a good amount of the day if not the whole day, then its rather simple to get 2 or 3 at uni
that being said, I often don't bother getting more than 1 myself because the rewards are rather lackluster at the moment

a thought I had today was that it would be nice to be able to receive candy for the pokemon you fight with at a gym, but you can only recieve a certain amount per individual pokemon, both to discourage farming unreasonable amounts by spamming a single pokemon at gyms, and to encourage variety in fights to win candy for each of your pokemon

There's 3 autists holding all nearby gyms with Arcanine / Dragonite / Vaporeon and a couple other pokes, is there any way I can cheese them out of the gyms as a level 7?

Their pokemon are all around 1.5k - 2k, and I live right across a pokestop so I can farm potions / revives and such if needed or whatever. I started playing 2 days ago.

Your Pokemon at lv 100 would have 300-400 stat points and you're spending hours a day grinding out eggs to get an extra 32 points from IVs. It was always about the autism, not like they let you hit a breakpoint that lets you tank 1 extra Earthquake or something or take someone out with one less hit. That was what the natures and EVs were for.

I'm level 25, play pretty regularly, and see absolutely no Variety of Pokemon.

95% of the Pokemon I encounter are pidgey ratata wrestle venonat caterpie.

I only have 70 Pokemon to my pokedex, many of them beinghatched or evolved.

To answer a few questions I've seen posted in this thread:

Site works best if you use the "Scan my Location" button. Try finding somewhere nearby your location to search in the search bar if not. The geocoder I use isn't fantastic and doesn't support everywhere in the world which is why it's best to use the location scan

Scanning doesn't work by changing the url at all. I haven't added a feature to scan a specific lat/long but I can do it tomorrow if people want that.

I am, I bought a new server today and I'm just setting it up. Need to wait for DNS to change etc before it'll be live. I'm expecting 24/48hr till it's all ready. New server will be much better and won't crash 24/7

I kinda splashed out on the server and I'm in my overdraft because I wanted to get it up and running asap. Sorta been stuck in a cycle of needing donations to pay for server but no one donates to a site that is crashing all the time but it's crashing all the time because I don't have money for a server

Are you on a computer? Because computers dont have gps so they can't use location services properly.

If you're on a phone, try turning off low power mode or allow chrome to use high accuracy location services

My site has it's own IP and it's own scanning accounts. I don't think you could ever get banned for using my site even on the same phone you play on.

How possibly could Niantic know you went on my site? I don't send your IP to Niantic and Niantic don't have access to your browser history.

The thing is, some mapping services allow you to log in and scan with your own account. Doing that is essentially botting because you're having your account sent all round the block to view all the pokemon.

So it's either because people spoof and get sad that they got found out or it's that people logged into websites and used their main acc to scan and got banned

Why do I have to look at SilphRoad's nest map at a per-pokemon basis? Why can't I just see the map and all nests on it? Mine is a small country, I'm sure the map lacks much data so it'd be great if I could just see if ANY exists beforehand...
