That's a pity. I liked some things about Halo 5's campaign alot. Especially the Sanghelios levels, and the various battlefields which were designed for extreme flexibility of attack and movement. I think a few tweaks and the Prometheans would have been fresh to fight too; I like what they did with the Knights at least.

Halo 4 averages better. Halo 3 has two great levels and the rest is really meh.

ODST beat CE overall by 0.11 points. That's just because some people don't like the library or Keyes that much. Others don't like the second mission that much. ODST's highest ranked mission was still ranked lower than CE's 4 highest.
When you factor that all in, I'd give CE the edge.

Blue Team is far and away the best mission in Guardians.
It's the only mission that has that real Halo feel. It's designed in a way that feels completely different from the rest of the game.

Mantis Breakout and that Minotaur gametype are great for finishing my Mantis commendations. Finished Mantis Destroyer in a single game of Breakout, and I'm only 11 kills off of the actual kill commendation.

If anyone cares, i can confirm you can still get the single player achievements for Halo 2 Vista without any issues. The multiplayer is literally dead though so you only get 675 GS max on this game until they bring back the servers (if they ever do).

Ah, Prophets disappeared after their population was rekt to like a couple thousand.

Engineers are split between various factions.

Some Drones stuck with the Covenant remnants (Jul had a few at some point, I think), but most of them just went back to Palamok and its nearby colonies to make poop castles. The UNSC basically leaves them alone.

Brutes are also either serving/leading Covenant remnants or leading their own independent factions.

I've honestly never heard anything but praise for Halo 3, so it's a little confusing hearing people say it was a bad game and that it's going through the listed cycle. I can certainly see it with Reach, though, since I see a lot of people who were staunchly anti-Reach saying that it might not have been so bad after all.

I personally have at least vaguely enjoyed every Halo game save Halo 4, so that's the metric I base the series as a whole on. I'm sure that if I went to check, I've put the least amount of cumulative playtime into Halo 4 of all the Halo titles, and that's even taking into account the amount of time I spent fucking around on CE doing splitscreen on Sidewinder or doing Warthog jumps on The Silent Cartographer.

Oh, it definitely has. We don't know anymore if the population is too low, or if the system is bullshit, but people are constantly getting matched with others 2-3 ranks above them. The playlists are shit, the maps are shit, the amount of gametypes is shit. Arena gives no RP or XP, Warzone is the same exact thing over and over, and Firefight is a race against the clock against bulletsponges.

This is a ton of fun. It's not perfect, but it's definitely the most fun I've had in Arena yet.
Minotaurs is probably my favorite of what I've played. My least favorite is probably Husky Raid. I normally love it, but I really dislike that map for it. Only had one game that didn't end in a tie.

The only game I didn't try out was the tank one. I also wish there were no snipers in the ground pound gametype.
