I will admit that I appreciate 343's attempts at large setpieces and battlefields with multiple avenues of attack. Especially prevalent in the Sanghelios levels.

I don't think they were FULLY utilized to their advantage, though. Run-and-gun worked about as well as it always has for me.

Halo. The fact we'd already had a warthog run doesn't really affect me as they're both fantastic. Halo always has fantastic vehicle orientated missions.

I find Halo to have the better warthog run of the 2 as, in my opinion, the build up and tension is just greater. The platforms falling, cortana reading out how close the charging was, the fact you have to make the jump at the end and you had a lot more movement in the run whereas the maws was clunky at times

Halo 2 ends a bit lackluster. Clearly a rushed final product, but despite this, TGJ still holds up.

Halo 2 is a game that rests largely on its challenge and difficulty. It's punishing but not cheaply so. When you beat it on legendary/LASO, you really feel accomplished, as opposed to later entries that are easier on legendary than Halo 2 is on heroic.

I feel like Halo Reachs campaign is overlooked. You don't have a ton of time to bond with the characters before they're killed off and some of their deaths are lackluster but the actual design of the levels from a gameplay standpoint is superb. It's one of the more consistent campaigns where even missions that aren't as good are still miles above the lesser missions in other games

What the fuck am I reading, I know there are some people that actually enjoyed the campaign somewhat but 10s? There is not a single aspect of 4 or campaign level that would generate anywhere near a perfect 10

I think it's just 1 pelican, but it has the tank turret on top that one player can control, and a pair of machine guns on either side.

Halo 5 has lost a fuck ton of its population in the last 2 weeks. I'm not sure why, but school starting has to be part of it.
It was getting pop in the 30,000 range before, which isn't good already for a less than 1 year old AAA exclusive game like Halo, bit now it's probably below 20,000 again.

Post the Halo 5 levels so we can finish this voting and move on to actual discussion.

The halo 5 levels themselves are mostly fine (aside from the 3 "walk 10 feet and talk to an NPC" missions.) They had a lot of verticality and most areas had multiple ways to approach enemies and combat.
