Considerably less spooky. Both her and the Mohawk are in full ascended gear with 150 AR and meta-y builds. They do pretty significant damage. Working on getting a Vipers backpack for her from Bloodstone Fen.

Thanks. It's really hard NOT to be lazy about the last 15 AR considering how inexpensive the potions are. I have 2/6 leather ascended bits, but given how much of a pain getting the leather for the cloth things for the necro was (Mohawk was in all that ascended stuff before HoT changed the recipes), I may well just spend a couple of weeks farming T4's for box drops instead. I can still do the daily cooldowns, but leather is so expensive...

Also, playing herald at the moment seems way .ore complex than tempest. I play both glassy but managing energy levels, switching between legends, and anticipating enemies choices means I look like a drunken piano maestro when playing herald. Tempest is one thing but herald is next level. Lots of fun.

I really want to get back into playing GW2 again, but progressing with a fresh character feels dull. I don't want to buy Heart of Thorns, I just want to get to Lion's Arch quickly and maybe have some banter with lads while I progress...

Result of half an hour of messing around.

I like the idea of the snackbar mask for the desert, but feel like it needs bulkier shoulders to balance it out. The Guild Watch shoulders are nice, but I also like the makeshift appearance of the Krytan arm brace, and that really needs more "primitive" shoulders to look decent. I doubt I can get away with both.

The Ascalonian Sentry stuff is nice, though I'd like to keep the face covered.

I don't really have time to mock something up, as I should've been in bed hours ago; though I'll have to admit I don't really care for the idea of using the scarf in the desert. There's obvious care and skill involved in the creation of this game. They spend an obscene amount of time on the details. The point is that all of it is ruined by the heavy handed monetization of the game. My heart goes out to Anet.

I think they should start discounting or even making free some of the older stuff in the cash shop. Start cycling out the old stuff into the game, make it a reward for more difficult content, because If no one bought the pirate outfit in 2013 they're not going to buy it in 2016 and it will just add to the excitement of playing the content.

Put together a preliminary desert outfit.

Not sure how I feel about using so heavy a leather coat, but I've read that as long as it isn't insulated, it should be fine and would help to protect against the blowing sand.

The skull on the shoulder can be dyed, I just can't get to it via the preview pane.

You can pvp at any level. I'm not sure if f2p versions lock it out until a certain level or not. Everything in pvp lobby is standardized. PvE level difference isn't a factor. Heart of Thorns will offer objectively better options because powercreep and jews. The game's combat, however, has always been super passive since launch. Players only make actual moves when they have all their cooldowns up, and most combat comes down to hard counters.

You literally can enter sPvP as a level 2 character fresh out of the tutorial and have everything available.
You get all specializations unlocked and can choose whatever gear you want, your normal gear doesnt matter.
The only exception is that there are some runes/sigils/amulets which you need to unlock account wide für some gold, but these are abot 5 each

Gear is all normalized in pvp. The only thing that matters for gear are amulets, runes and sigils which are all provided for you. Like I said, the specs that Heart of Thorns provide are overpowered.
