C.O.R.E. guy from last thread here, I decided to go ahead with the purges. Annexed Finland in the Winter War and tried to fortify the major cities. It only slightly helped because the Germs kicked my ass up and down the length of European Russia. The had surrounded and taken Leningrad, costing me thirty divisions, and nearly did the same to Moscow and Stalingrad. Some timely reinforcements from the East and from the NKVD helped to stem the tide enough for my industry to start pumping out Reserve divisions out the ass, and now we're beginning to push them back. This hasn't been without loss, however. A year ago I had nearly 3000 manpower in reserve, and now I have just over 800. I can only hope the Germans are in a similar if not worse position.

hey yall im looking for some stellaris modding advice

so I'm using the codex (pirated) version of stellaris with the 1.2.4 update (also pirated ofc) and the game runs fine, but I can't seem to get any mods to work. When I went to the stellaris folder in Documents, there was no mod folder so I created one, but when I put the mods in there they don't show up in the mods list on the launcher so they can't be turned on. I'm using the mods from the archive in the op of the stellaris thread if it helps

Anyone know whats going on or how to fix it?

How can I get into Hearts of Iron IV? I've tried doing the tutorial but that explained nothing. The whole battle with Ethiopia confused me, at 5 speed it took over 10 minutes, and did so automatically. I watched one tutorial online, nearly 30 minutes of a guy saying "Just pick this, I'll tell you what it means later", later never coming. I am not entirely inexperienced, since I have several hundred hours in CK2 and EU4 having mastered trade and combat.
