Possessed by Sargeras (The dark titan, king of the Burning Legion. Biggest bad in Warcraft) from birth because his mother was the Guardian of Azeroth, and his mother vanquished Sargeras, but with the last bit of power he had, he left a piece of his soul within her womb (She was pregnant with Medivh at the time) as he died. So growing up he had the spirit of Sargeras inside him, which fucked with his personality and all that. He was always a bit schizophrenic, cold at times, just kind of a weird and bland dude, but he thought that was just the way he was, he nor anybody else knew Sargeras was inside him.

So eventually, because he became the next Guardian, Sargeras used Medivh as a magical conduit to speak to Gul'dan on Draenor through dreams, and fucked with Medivh's head to sway him into helping Gul'dan open the Dark Portal, which led to the Orcs invading Azeroth for the first time.

He's one of the most important figures ever, and he's bland likely because of, you know, being raised with another person inside of him. The version of him we get in HotS is him AFTER all of that happened. So he's completely himself again, not sharing his mind/body with anybody, and he feels like shit because of what he did to Azeroth, although he WAS possessed by Sargeras, he still feels like shit just because, you know, he was appointed Guardian, and did exactly the opposite of what his duties entailed.

Yeah, it's all based on the WoW raid. ALMOST nothing about the Hearthstone raid is original, except in that trailer I just linked, it shows Draenei and Blood Elves and shit, but at the point in time which this is taking place (Which must be early on because Medivh is still young), that is impossible. Blood Elves didn't exist at that point (I'm pretty sure anyway), nor were Draenei hanging around Azeroth and all that shit. So it's just Hearthstone being Hearthstone.

Since the place was so vournerable to magic, reality started to get a bit funky inside the tower. Things would appear that didn't really exist and people could get visions that made them scream. Moroes was know to use a blindfold in order to avoid these visions and work properly. Wehn Medivh was ressurected, most of the magic was absorbed from the tower, but the damage had been done, and a lot of people who went into the tower at one point never came out ever again. A curse fell upon the tower, making anyone residing within it suffer a fate worse than death.

During Medivhs youth, however, the tower was a glorious site of magic and possibilities. Medivh spent countless hours mastering the craft of magic and would eagerly display any discovery he could to his guests. I have question about Hammer.
I have been trying to level her and She seems like she is a hero that relies heaps on cooperation with her teammates right? because it seems like it might be from my experience but I keep getting teammates who say nothing all game and seem to also be clinically retarded and charge in to try to 1v5 the entire enemy team and run away scared during a teamfight when they lose just an 8th of their health.
and for some reason I keep getting into game with literally the exact same teammates as well

Is Chromie bad?

I played a match where I got far and away more hero damage than with any other character I've used, but I wasn't getting any kills. Even though I wanted to hit the support or someone with low health, my spells kept hitting the beefy ones and ultimately doing nothing. I didn't see a way to hit the targets that needed to be hit without putting myself in unreasonable danger.

Yo, what's the most fun/good way to build Artanis? I've personally had the best luck with this build:

>1: Amateur Opponent (bonus damage to non-heroes on W)/Seasoned Marksman
>4: Shield Battery (shield resets quicker if it lasts full duration)
>7: Psionic Energy (cdr on Q hit)
>10: Purifier Beam

I've been thinking of trying Templar's Zeal (faster Q recharge below 50% HP) at 4 to synergize with level 7 better, but on the other hand it's less punishing to get your shield baited. Either way, it feels like mostly-tank with a bit of damage seems to be the way to go, because he still fucking hurts anyway, especially after level 16. I like the hero a lot and I'm thinking of buying him once I get 10k.

Artanis is definitely my favorite hero, and you dont always have to build him for immortal shield protoss, depends a lot on your comp or comp youre facing.

At 16 I like the increased range in twin blades(Zealot Charge) for chasing opposing squishies, think I only ever pick titan killer if im up against Chogall.

What I like about Artanis (and by extension Dehaka) is how his playing style reflects exactly what the Protoss are like. He's only tanky because he keeps abusing his techno gadgets to max potential and that makes him a bitch to fight one on one, but the only direction he can move in is forward.

And Dehaka's kit shows the exact inverse of that because he can hide and run but he can't take hits to the face too well, and his tankiness comes from slow organic regeneration and taking from others because that's what Zerg do.

Two of the most well thought out kits and playstyles in the game imo.

Auriel was pretty fucking strong, no doubt, but these aren't going to affect her much. If anything, energized cord is going to be insane now. I already took it beforehand, but now since it and her aa's got buffed, that'll probably be the go-to at level 7 if you don't have a bruiser on the team.
