Well it's just that the Spirit is my Halo vehicle, and the redesign did not do it justice, I love the Phantom, Wraith, Banshee, and Ghost and especially the Needler redesigns but the spirit is a bit messy.

It's not really so much the swapping, it's the usage. If I know I will get the first hit in (maybe the enemy is facing the other way or engaged in a distraction) then i'll always use the Promethean weapon over the precision weapon. If he sees me first of if it appears to be an even meeting, i'll use the precision weapon.

Unlike magnum over br there isn't some high skill required to use the ar.

Why? If you have the drop on an enemy you'd win using an AR or precision and the AR or precision are hitscan/headshot which makes it easier to pick off an enemy who's fighting someone else.
The rev time, slow projectiles, and meh tracking all make suppressor a huge pain in the ass to use in my opinion.

Actually, i've found that if I have the drop on someone, they can quickly boost out of the way and maybe escape once I hit them with a few shots from my magnum or BR (it seems to be the natural response from most players) nbut the boltshot will actually track their boost and prevent their escape most of the time.

Again, at a higher skill level, most players don't retreat so this method works less. But most Halo players are not at that skill level. This is another reason why platinum rank is really not that great. If anything it's average.

Combat Evolved's multiplayer would show significantly less age if we had a more detailed pre-game customization interface. As it stands to this day we can't even choose the weapons on map or the starting weapons to any significant degree of detail.
