For you few people that are simply new and come for a fresh server, the people running Elysium have been running another vanilla server for 8 years and it's been stuck on the same patch for 7 years. 8 years and they haven't fixed stock mangos bugs. Meaning they haven't done anything the baseline emulator every server tends to use by default.

The only reason anyone from /krog/ even knows about this server is because final flash got banned for botting and went on a shit-posting rampage.

I don't play vanilla anymore so I'm not really invested in anything and I'm waiting on crestfall anyways, so it doesn't bother me either way.

Played till lvl 10 in this server. Honestly fuck lvling another character to 60. Server is buggy as fuck i rather resub and play legion. Its better to play on kronos until crestfall comes out.

Getting a bit fed up of this server. Level 9 now, and there's just too many little bugs here and there to ignore.

If the population was stronger I'd probably be more inclined to give it a go but I might just wait a few weeks until these little things are fixed and if the population is about 2-3k I'll keep playing.

I'm fairly new to private servers but what's so special about Crestfall? It just seems every time a new server comes out it ends up being spectacularly underwhelming and fails like Elysium has.

As far as I can see it only really intended on launch after Nost went down, so it's not even a long standing server? I'm just as hopeful we'll get a really high quality server one day but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Can anyone explain the Crestfall appeal?
