questing with grinding inbetween quest mobs/npcs is by far the fastest if you're by yourself. There's a reason the fastest leveler in the world didnt just grind it out. Grinding might be quicker if you're getting boosted through instances or are a class like a mage or something and have a 60 healer following you around

Although you can kill your speed with inefficiencies, with addons like questie you can set up your own little routes or circuits fairly easily if you dont want to follow a guide.

the joanna 1-60 horde guide and the kopp 1-60 alliance guides are prob the best. Its sometimes better to stray away and do an instance run here or there if you have quests and can get a group together quick. The reason they arent in the guides is because it was generally pretty hard to find instance groups while leveling late in vanilla, and on new servers when you're ahead of everyone else

I guess its not the end of the world, but I got dependent on that near 100% clearcasting proc off the first blizzard on nost. You basically have to ice block>fn>coc>ae spam now, blizzard just makes you go oom and the slow only works like 50% of the time.

We would usually be 1st/2nd for our respective classes and like top 10 at least on the server to 60, and he would be 60 for days before anyone would even be going through burning steppes.
