Why is Nakarkos such a shit? It's hand down the most dissapointing huge monster in the series.
Dying pretty fast and having a cool last breath animation while doing so, are the only good things I can say about that fight.

Have you played FU?
Lao shan lung is by far the most boring large monster.
It's just following it and hitting until it gets to the last area.
Then it slams its face into a wall repeatedly. It never actively attacks you.
Shen gaoren pretty much the same.
Every large monster we got afterwards is tons better.

Not only the thing goes to one side of the map underground before starting the attack (I wonder where have I seen that pattern before)but it just stands there making a distinctive noise and building up a RED FUCKING SPHERE OF ENERGY in his face.

Urok's feel like goofy magma parrot lizards,speaking secret clackclack language.
And they always manage to street fight you at the wrong time.

Gobul is scary from above, and cuddly from below.

Blunt vs Crit boost is averaging 324 vs 340 raw respectively.
You can use Blunt as a complimentary skill, but don't drop crit boost for that (specially since WE is almost guaranteed to proc since you're supposed to go for head anyways).

Also, see if it's possible to go S+2, green is still the optimal range for damage, even without Blunt, since there's the pesky low sharpness penalty at yellow and below.

Hey, I'm playing MH4U and was wondering if anyone had tips for cutting off the Seltas Queen's tail with a Switchaxe?

You get thrown real damn far on a successful mount and unsheathing into the transform also takes awhile. The way I'm doing it now seems like a waste of time.

Are there decorations that increase your ability to break/cut off tails? I'm using Despot's Cloudburst if it matters.
