Can someone tell me how to use SA in MH4U? I'm not sure how to stick to monsters to keep my DPS up/hunting times low. It's hard avoiding things because tells are so quick and my attacks are so sluggish even with evade canceling.

Maybe, but it doesn't make much sense for them to just run in and attack you while you're fighting a Tigrex or something. All they're doing is putting themselves in danger for no gain. (Not that it stops Rhenos or Bullfangos but -preys and -ggis are supposed to be smarter I think)

That said they should definitely attack you if you're fighting a Drome or Great, help out their alpha or whatever. I just think it makes sense for them to stay back and watch when you're fighting some other monster, waiting for either you or the monster to die so they can scavenge some food.

First, you level them up straight from I to X. Then you start grinding from the top. Higher level quests give you a bunch of lower level tickets. So by the time you're done farming X tickets, you'll have plenty of lvl VII-IX tickets already.
