It is funny how japanese Sega/ST take Sticks seriously, drawing wallpapers with her, putting her into Olympics and even giving her a nice music theme. Shade and other western characters didn't get same treatment.

GUN is nowhere near eggman's capacity or intelligence, also have in mind eggman probably has lots of robots programmed just to build robots or even repair themselves (i dont think he himself builds/repairs every single enemy sonic fights)

Tails is barely the straight man. Amy and tails kinda switch straight man duties. Sonic is the deadpan snarker and knuckles is the lovable idiot. Sticks balances it out because she's a bit manic. She keeps the character balance from being too boring.

I headcanon it that (a) Eggman's just so far ahead of them in robotics that they really can't; it'd be like giving Archimedes a crashed UAV and saying "Get to work", and/or (b) Eggman's robotics are so unethical - cute critters inside, etc - that even if GUN understood the technology they couldn't actually use it

As for Eggman attacking GUN, I think you're right: Prison Island's the only time. Although GUN goes full-tilt attacking Eggman in the Lava Shelter ending of ShtH.

Thanks man, if you think it looks good then I'm happy. Sonic's a lot easier than something like Quake cause flat colours, I'd never be able to artist something that good on a low poly model.


My Knuckles game took a hit after climbing on walls was near fucking impossible to do in Blueprints. I'll put in another character if this Sonic Jam-esque fan-game gets going. Classic Amy possibly.

The other day, I noticed something about Sonic Advance 2. The game has a Boost Mode, right? Where the characters break the sound barrier after accelerating to a high enough speed while running and stuff. When they enter Boost Mode, that's when they start doing the full "arms behind the back" running animation. For Tails, that means he doesn't start 'propellor dashing' until he enters Boost Mode. Before he breaks the sound barrier, he's just running.

Which means...

Tails can run up to at least the speed of sound, Mach 1, and any speed beyond that is pretty much when he needs to fly. Which also automatically makes him a Supersonic Flyer.

Sonic Advance 2 was a good game for Tails.

I don't think there's enough consensus on what program to use. Picarto's a bitch to set up and requires Premium status to multistream (I think) which caps at 3 or 4 streamers anyway, and Flockdraw sucks ass as a multistream method.

Not much plot-related happens, but it was a bit of fun to write. I hope I didn't mess up the characters too badly.

I'm also looking for suggestions for a character to serve as a sort of assistant/administrator role. Sally seems like a natural choice, but I'm pretty meh about her character. Maybe I'll disregard some canon/contrive some sort of scenario and add Blaze or Silver. Or maybe there's someone else I haven't thought of yet. The three characters who I can't use is Shadow, Tails or Amy.
