Bloodtinge is one of those all or nothing stats. Because you can't have dual scaling with it and any other stat, it's better to have either 50blt or minimum for weapon requirements. Anything in between isn't boosting your damage in any way, and is basically wasted.

With optimal arc % gems it's really good since it has high multipliers. The L2 is pretty based too even at 20 Arcane and full flats if you wanna twink with it.

Damage is heavily dependent on scaling and gems. The AR is actually misleading and only applies to the non-milkweed moveset, its tentacles moveset gets crazy high attack modifiers and does about twice as much damage as the stat screen says it would.

Moveset is slow, but it has tons of hyperarmor, stagger, and range. Takes some getting used to, but when you do you're basically untouchable. The barf attack causes some poison buildup, but you can't spam it fast enough to actually poison without stacking poison gems.

I think there's one or two other things, but anything beyond that point is just cosmetic like Amygdalas becoming visible at 40 or hearing baby mergo before the red moon at 60. Your frenzy resistance will decrease as your Insight goes up, which can make the late game enemies that cause frenzy a whole lot harder than they need to be.

It's usually just better to keep it low.

Are you using physical attacks? Pop a beast blood pellet and tear him up, he's one of the bosses that are weak to beasthood. If not, kill brains until you have a bunch of 20%-ish physical droplets and become a physical build.

You can see the sky box seams from Cleric Beast's bridge during day time.

Part of the are where you fight celestial emissaries disappears if you walk far enough.

You can see a big hole in the wall from the balcony in upper cathedral ward where you get the make contact gesture because the wall and door gets unloaded.

There's a big hole in the texure of the astral clocktower you can see from celestial emissary boss room.

From the loving failures arena, the yellow clouds turn blue where you're not looking, except they do. You can see it on the edge of your screen because they made the yellow effect too narrow.

The moon in forbidden woods was not supposed to look so transparent. Whenever you start going inside a building it turn rightly bright, where it should be bright when you're outside.

From forbidden wood's lanter you can see part of Yharnam's buildings up until the bridge, where they suddenly disappear.

Bloodletter is the only bloodtinge weapon worth a damn, really. Bowblade is good for cheesing if you need to do that, but Chikage is just boring and largely useless, with its poor range and lackluster damage until you get your FRC gems.

I've made a bloodtinge build. I got the Chikage and I hated every second I had to use it. Its range is so bad and the moveset is boring. I don't know about you, but I'd really rather not L1R1L1R1 everything, because that's about the only good move it has.

You can only get gems with %fire/bolt and flat fire/bolt in waning, since Abhorrent Beast and Watchdog can't be in Isz.

Unless you didn't mean those gems, in which case the answer is still probably the same. Why does it matter, though? Just punch in the glyph for a different variant of your weapon and you're golden.
