How quick is 90-100 with heirlooms now? I havent played in about a year. I have flying, would I get enough XP from just flying around to get treasures or do have to quest? Did they ever make BG leveling viable?

there is a warden program running alongside wow which can detect the moment that you start up a bot. they don't insta ban you because you pay a sub fee like everyone else. instead there will be a ban wave in the next few months and you will be part of that ban wave.

they used to not ban casual botters at all unless they were reported a significant number of times, but as of wod they 6 month ban them as part of the wave. you'll either have to wait out the ban or buy a new license. its not so bad, you get to keep all your achievements mounts pets mogs etc, just not characters, items, gold

Use these to try and get an overview of what realms you want. Use wowprogress to find what servers have a lot of up and coming guilds or lots of guilds in general or something.

Use realmpop to find the faction balance you want. Do you want a balanced server or do you just want to make a character with the biggest faction regardless if its unbalanced?

With that said, realmpop and wow progress arent that accurate when it comes to judging realm population. For example realm pop only counts characters that are made on the realm and some other shit

and look at the US or EU census. They try to track the last 30 days of activity, however warcraftrealms is a bit iffy too sicne their data is not 100% complete at all times.

So use these three resources to make up your mind

Or just make a character where everyone else have them. For example illidan, sargeras and proudmore or whatever are pretty safe choices in NA, while Ravencrest (alliance), Outland (alliance), Draenor (Horde), Tarren Mill (Horde) are pretty safe choices in EU

I don't even know how to point out all the stupidity in this statement but I'll try. Fighting 20+ targets is almost non-existent in non-trivial content, greater than 6 is uncommon. Anytime it's higher than this you could literally drop DnD and SS cleave which is insane damage as well. (Though it would take like 26+ targets for it to actually beat epidemic in damage). Enh shaman fire nova got hit with the exact same target limit, and guess what, fire nova was still overpowered as fuck.

It has 100 yard range and doesn't require line of sight, meaning it can be used to do aoe on targets that are across the map from one another. Virulent plague damage is also strong, especially with the first tier talent that literally increase its damage by 50%.

The point of the target limit was to prevent the spell from getting retarded exponential scaling which could possibly be abused at some point.

It becomes a toss up of whether or not taking clawing shadows is worth it, however CS is I think a dps loss at the moment thanks to blizzards idea of "balance".

They should change blighted rune weapon to just be a passive chance of your own auto-attacks applying wounds, which would give it some actual synergy with the unholy frenzy talent, boosting the value of both of them.

Clawing Shadows isn't a DPS loss unless you're like ilvl 650. At 60% Mastery, Clawing Shadows is the same damage before mitigation, and significantly more damage after you account for boss armor.
