rogue is rogue, im comfortable with it at this point, balance is still a pretty lightshow and effective, but neither of those are really blowing my dick off in the new form. mw/ww isn't massively different but so much smoother and effective now, enjoying mw healing is probably a good sign, and i like both specs in PvP too. UHDK is also really fun in PvP. i somehow quite like both prots but neither war or pala archetypes are "me". i don't really get the shadow hype, it's just wod shadow with void/insanity stuff instead of orbs stuff, and i don't like wod shadow.

MM is heavy duty aoe and decent outside of that, but exceptionally dull to play. Moonkin is alright with certain talent setups and in my eyes a big step up from WoD. Spriest yeah you pretty much nailed it, it has horrible aoe but good multi-dot if you have several long living adds/council style boss. StM burst means it'll be good on farm but bad on prog. Lock is horribly dull to play except for destro, and demo is inept at everything despite its prepatch boon, its only strong point is single target with absolutely no movement and even then its not that great and aff is alrightish on single target but fairly weak outside because destro is vastly superior cleave/2 target.

People did much worse to raid older shit. Getting legendaries in MoP/WoD became pseudo-attunements as groups didn't want people without it because "muh damage boost" etc etc. It'll continue to be this way, just in a more Diablo 3-esque style.

Though if you played D3, you'd know farming that one BiS legendary/set piece is the biggest pain in the ass in the world and all it does in the end is increase your completion time of Greater Rifts, as there's literally nothing else to work up for other than seasonal completion. They use less than 5% of resources you dumb cunt. There was a blue post about it designing the base raid takes the resources, the diversification across difficulties takes about 10% of the resources total, but vastly increases the amount of people participating in the content. So they could just design the base Heroic raid for 90% of the resources and get half the players, or do LFR, Normal, Heroic and Mythic for the tiniest bit of extra resource and give content to a much larger audience.

A friend of mine who has been playing since cata is trying to convince me to resub, im tempted and want to jump back on my Warrior but according to him my favorite spec (fury) is rubbish. A 1 rune ability that essentially has a 3 sec gcd with a 30 sec cd, vs getting 3-15 extra RP every time you heartstrike which is almost every single rune you spend except for maintaining Bone Shield. The amount of extra death strikes you get from the increased RP, in addition to the extra rune you get every 30 seconds by not using bloodrinker and the time you save by not channeling it for 3 sec every 30 seconds is vastly superior. Unless you're literally getting hit for fuckall and doing normal dungeons in raid gear more death strikes will always outweigh the healing you get from Blood drinker because it's not based on a coefficient but your damage taken.

Yes but the idea of legendaries is you could get a decent thing for your class to give you a small boost in DPS. Most of the ones I've seen are like a small buff to a not so often used spell, or very situational shit like when you cast X you get a small Y buff.

It's not like AYY LMAO 25%+ DPS INCREASE mandatory! like the ring is.


In my opinion legendaries should/are for making situational things come up more often to make things a little more fun.
