Honestly, I think there was a mistake somewhere along the road, and it was originally meant what is now called Super AED.
Because all the three other phial attacks are just a part of the basic triple A phial combo. While Super AED is the only one that is truly "amped".
But now I just roll with it, or people would misunderstand.

How do you unlock Teostra HR online?

Every source says "You unlock it at HR35", but it's so painfully bullshit that it makes me legitimately furious that no one checks their shit.
There's a billion HR50+ hunters running around begging for anyone who has the quest, it's so fucking obvious it's not unlocked by HR.

It's on a village cycle, if it's not currently in your hub quests then it will be gone and stay gone until you go back to village and cycle it. If you just keep playing online it will never cycle and you will never see it despite it being a hub quest.

You can still play 4U. I used to main SA, because 1) it's an axe (well, not anymore) and 2) it's a transformer weapon.
But SA still didn't feel right, because the Axe mode was the fast and less powerful one, which kinda goes against the nature of the Axe in video games. And it wasn't much of a transformer, because you can just reload the phial. There's no NEED to transform, just the ability to do so.
While CB really clicked with me from the start in 4U. It was the transformer-axe weapon done right.

Adept didn't feel meaty enough, and you lose your normal guard.

I'm overal not very fond of adept/aerial either, but i love the arts.

Many people will tell you to insert 15 points for hg earplugs, but simply countering that shit works ever better.

I love countering as striker lance, Minmax-dono.
I think the lance charge poke is a little too strong, and doesn't work as well on 1/2 gen bullshit.

On-site items only quests were MADE to be failed over and over.

You can hit X after the overhead shield then chop for the roundslash.

The only move the SnS has that blows people away is the second hit of the A combo, the shield slam. The roundslash just puts people on their ass unless they're hopping around or some shit.

I can't find the motion value for the lvl 3 circle swipe following a lvl 3 charge for the aerial great sword

Considering the charge damage of aerial gs charges is nerfed compared to those on the ground in guild style, I was assuming maybe the followup side slash would also be nerfed?

But is it? Or does it do the full 80 and x1.3 element? That would make it deal even more damage than the lvl 3 charge itself which is 75 and 1.3

Okay so lets assume my damage is 210 plus AUL with green sharpness just for shits. So that's 242 attack

Hitting a "pretty weak spot" average of 50. Any higher is too ambitious

With poke poke scoop for a total MV of 80

Total damage done in red would be 96.8

So no that didn't outdamage it, but lets assume you can do it twice because its pretty fast. 194. It does outdamage it provided you are only counting shell damage. There is the slam portion of course.

So 210 green sharpness (no aul) aerial slam on a generous non-weak point of 30 would deal 29 damage after all the math. Total of 207.98. It barely comes out on top

These are assuming red and dragons breath up. I suppose poking would do more damage since it only requires red, but after dragons breath comes up it deals a ton of damage as well that poking is almost not worth it especially if you can't hit weakpoints 50 or above consistently.

Is there anything more annoying than when a monster's AI is so shit it bodycamps you without a chance to do anything about it?

Is charm sniping a thing in gen yet? I want that focus+5 ooo.

Japs don't touch it because they play adept GL and can consistently hit weak spots in TAs. Adept's push reload and slam does a total MV of 108, which is quite a big amount compared to poke scooping.

Not to mention at level 4 shelling, damage basically caps out at slam+199+fire. That can get easily outdamaged by an adept poking TA jap who can play. So no it's actually not that good on paper either.

It's at best a crutch for aerial shitters like me.
