How do I set up necro's bot so it just farms an area for specific pokemon? I tried setting all the other shitmons to the ignore list and just placing it in the area where it should be farming, but it says no pokespots are found nearby (no shit, there are none nearby)

Want to know a trick?

With 10 accounts working in tandem, you can blast a gym up prestige extremely quickly. This is how it's done.

1. Find a gym you can take down.
2. Whittle it down to 1 or 2 defenders left.
3. Begin battle with all 10 accounts.
4. Finish battle with 1 account only.
5. Have that account claim that gym and place a high CP fire pokemon in it (Like an Arcanine or Flareon). (2,000 Prestige)
6. Finish battle with remaining 9 accounts before the time limit expires. Shouldn't be a problem. (2,000 + 18,000 Prestige = 20,000 Prestige instantly)
7. Use all 10 accounts to train against that 1 fire pokemon using lower CP water pokemon (Any vapes should do fine) (+5,000 Prestige a run, and can very easily do this without taking much damage)

Congratulations, within 10-15 minutes you'll have converted an enemy gym into a level 10 gym completely filled with your pokemon (as long as nobody interfered)

You still have to spoof around a location with the Pokemon, scanning it to check if its there. Running the bot and catching the Pokemon. Waiting till you get one that has near perfect IVs then hoping its CP is high enough. Evolving it and hoping it has the right moves. Going through all that with the programs, and learning how to use them has thought me quite a bit about computers actually. Something I find extremely fun.

There is a lot of things you have to do, you can't just get what you want. Spoofing, Botting, Scanning facilitates the process and makes it a bit faster. If I tried to do the above paragraph playing legit it would be almost impossible for me because in my case of wanting a Vulpix, it just doesn't show up on my area. I got one legit, a week ago and haven't seen once since.

If we were talking, cheating in the way of getting whatever Pokemon you wanted with whatever stats and moves you wanted then yeah that would not be fun at all and it would be pointless. There is still a sense of trying to get the perfect Pokemon and trying to catch them all.

You need to use the spreadsheet for the full range of possibilities. Silph Road's tool only gives you one possibility at a time.

A 10 CP / 10 HP Pidgey could be perfect. It could also be 0%. There is zero way of knowing without using a cheaty bot or something with no extra information. If you want certainty, you need to power something up a couple times and eventually rule out all possibilities except one.

Your mistake was assuming that a low CP Pokemon's IV calculation was correct and that there was only one possible set of IV values.
