I bot and scan to make the game actually fun and playable. It's basically required in my area since the meta is fucked by spoofers and whales. I botted an alt up to the level they're at and I scan my area because the tracker is broken and I refuse to give Niantic my money for items.

Reminder:

My GPS is stuck in one location. In a big city currently.

It worked fine when I was moving about on the ground, but in my hotel room it briefly starts where I am then jumps to the fountain a bit of ways away from where I am. Been having GPS problems earlier too where I was at a building across the street from the room.

You can find a 100% IV pokemon at any level. Now whether that pokemon is even useful at 100% is up to you, so check the IVs of shit like Eevees and Dratinis, maybe rarer stuff like Chanseys. They have a dwindling hunting population so they have some pretty generous cull limits. If you put in the effort to get hunting and firearms licenses under their draconian laws you can harvest like two deer a day. You can pretty much eat all the venison and small game you can hunt. I've got one of my bots running the same exact GPX path as the other about 3 seconds behind the other one and I've noticed that the pokemon captured by each bot is identical.

So if they were to keep pace at all times, if one of them catches a 100% Eevee for example, the other one will too.

You can edit the config file and set it to what you like. Read the wiki for more info

With good GPX pathing you don't need to worry about slowing down for pokestops or going too fast to catch pokemon, so you can set your movement speed to ~250 or even ~500 and softbans don't occur. A good path will cover a lot of ground and not have any blind spots so you'll catch everything in the grid. Your PPH increases pretty dramatically at first, but levels out in the end because you were simply catching up to the pre-spawned pokemon that have been around for up to 15 minutes. After the bot runs for a while it settles down to the area average which is about 250-260 this time of night in Central Park.

Once the spawns level out it's about 85k per hour (post level 30) with 280-290 PPH. Speed is set to 250km/h but I'm sure you could speed that up. Also the latest Spegeli bot made some improvements with removing unnecessary delays so it's probably faster than what I'm using at the moment.

Someone figured out how to do it yesterday or today.

Basically what it does is spin the medallion thing at pokestops really fast over and over. I think necro is set to do it 40 times.

Sometimes it takes less.

When you load up the latest release it says something like, "you appear to be softbanned" and then starts spinning them like crazy.

It got past my softban when i transported from denmark to santa monica in about 30 seconds

If I have necro's bot set to "keep duplicates" to 1, yet have keep IV to 80 and keep CP to 1,000...will it only keep 2 pokemon per species that fall into this criteria? I give it at most a month. I've used it as an exercise app and have hit level 21 doing so and am starting to burn out. Playing it with others is neat, but the leveling gets stupid after 20 and I find the gyms to just not be worth the effort.

If the gameplay were more engaging and compelling, and the rewards were balanced to be in line with the effort put in, I would feel absolutely no compulsion to cheat or seek some sort of third party support to extract fun from the game. the config.json file in the precompiled release has a line for the name of your gpx file. You just change that line to the name of your gpx file and save the gpx file into the same folder as your .exe
