Razor Sharp, Artillery expert. everything else is personal pref.

All three GL hunter arts are great, the dash gets you in with the slower styles, the heat boost means you can wyvernfire whenever you like and still have max heat.
and the super attack just acts like a super Wyvernfire (great for arial style).

Arial style with a normal gunalnce spamming full burst all day is loads of fun, but i feel bushido is the strongest style solo after you ditch the cats.

The styles are a huge buff to gunlance, giving them a ton more openings to unleash the high damage attacks.
Hunter arts giving free heat and movement are amazing. So while the weapon itself is weaker, the new mechanics are nothing but a huge upside.

Go Striker, use all three HA's. Only use Long or Wide, as Normal's only good in Adept, and then you're best equipping Dragon Blast for a secondary Wyvernfire on demand.
Dragon Breath is best used when you a) use Wyvernfire and it doesn't lock in red or b) you overheat and get sent back to yellow.
Blast Dash isn't as good as the Lance version, but it's still a good mobility tool.

What's the build up for Najarala? Only have my phone so I can't check Pings Dex or Kiranico.

So what HR should I be before facing all these deviant monsters? I thought they were all HR+ stuff but I just did Stonefist easily just starting HR. Are there higher tier versions or something?

only do rares or ones with things you need so you don't miss an opportunity you want to take

with rares, save before you go to the meowster hunters, shoot your cannon full power on left and right until the rare circle appears. Go to home menu and quit the game, the relaunch. Rare will be in the same spot.

Same works for all other circles, so if you miss, you can just restart.

It's a 3% drop rate from a head break, so you'll probably have to do it at least a dozen times. You're more likely to get it from a carve. It's 5% each time that way.

Adept can easily get you hit or killed because you can't cancel anything after the dodge with a defensive move, so you'll find that occassionally you get fucked. It's especially noticable against glavernus since quite a bit of his moves have follow ups. It starts to become a guessing game of sorts, where you dodge a narga or tigrex attack and use your sprint to go for an attack only to get hit by a chomp or a tailspin, then the next time you dodge a move you adept spring off to the side and they decide to go for the charge. This doesn't really happen often but it bugged me enough to just stick to guild.

The downfall of adept style on a lot of weapons such as LS is that after evading you have to get back into the monster to hit it, and in the case of LS for example the run back doesn't cover enough distance to get to the monster sometimes. Especially an issue with charge stuff and such.

The only Adept styles that are worth it in my opinion are HBG/LBG/Bow, Hammer and Switchaxe because they don't run into any of those issues.

If you're god tier at reads and stuff you can play a full-bursts-only style with Adept GL, but that is beyond the point.

It's not supposed to be the only thing you do within the moveset, it's supposed to be one option. People using only Adept full bursts are only gimping themselves. Same with Aerial, you can easily use wide and long and ignore full bursts entirely.

The benefit is that it tricks the system, because it counts how many times you deliver coal, not how much you put in, and scales the rewards up to max. If you don't put them in individually you'll have to deliver 30 coals or 12 delvieries in total as long as it goes to or over 12 deliveries in total.

If everyone delivers their coals individually but some faggot decides to put in 2 at once and you deliver pawpass at 12 you'll not get max reward because it will only count as 11 deliveries.

I can't do it anymore guys. I went into this game, swearing to myself up and down I would play GL and stick with it. I've tried GL in every iteration of MH i've played and always drop it because it just ends up being not fun.

It started so good, I was getting like sub 5 minute hunting times in villiage, aerial was fun as fuck and mobile as all get it, it made the petrified gunlance super strong with shot level 2 and full burst all the time every time leading to a mount leading to dragon blasts in the face.

But now that I hit HR5, not even 6, not even TRUE high rank... the lack of good gunlances available is literally fucking killing me. The highest raw I have is the nakarkos lance with like 180, but its WIDE. Every lance I own is wide shot except the petrified, but bringing a fucking level 6 petrified gunlance with 120 raw is not going to fucking do anything.

On top of that every cuckbag hunter thinks they're more imporant to bounce off of tails/hard to break pieces and I cannot shell. You'd normally go "Oh just shell in the air, upswing and all that" NOPE CANT DO THAT WHEN EVERYONE AND THEIR FUCKING MOM IS FUCKING AERIAL NOW HURR HURRR HURHURURURUURUUR.

Oh the monster tripped and you want to Dragon Blast it's face? NOPE BOW KEK DUMPING LEVEL 3 SPREAD INTO YOUR BACK INTERUPTED.

Oh the monster fell asleep in a room with bow, db, sns, and me? Sweet I can dragon blast his face for that sexy like 95 motion value. NOPE SNS HITS HIM WITH HIS SHIELD FOR LIKE 5 MOTION VALUE.

Failed a hunt because everyone carted except me? Yeah I get insulted and kicked from the lobby for picking "the worst weapon"
