Armor is done by just having armor, it doesn't matter. Just have a chest/legs/boots equipped and you'll get your armor bonus. Your sigils and runes are done in a special little menu now, I forget the default keybinding for it but I believe there's a thing you can click at the top of the screen in the PVP lobby to open it.

You get most sigils/runes for free, but some you need to purchase to unlock for your account. It all gets swapped freely though, and doesn't need to be stored. You can't mix runes anymore though, which is a bit of a shame.

It is kind of a hard one to start with just because it's not real. First thought was that it would probably be a carrion eater, major themes being decay, life from death etc. I'm not super up on Wurms in GW2 but I don't think that's how they actually work though. From what I remember they just attack everything so maybe they don't actually fill that niche.

Thinking about their actual role in the game kind of reminds me of a shark. A large powerful body, giant horrific mouth. Lurking around, waiting to surge up and snatch it's prey.

Going off that maybe their "trait" is hunger. Could manifest itself literally or be metaphors for envy, ambition, desperation, etc.
