Yes, because when you claim it doesn't do something, don't completely exclude the fact it does something which is the entire reason you're complaining.

Astalos misses you when you're at close range, and all of its ranged attacks are telegraphed to heck and back. It doesn't have a single cheap attack because the fight is so easy.

As for its weak spots, its wings are giant weak spots when it has an electrical charge in them, and it leaves its tail exposed after every paralysis sting attempt and discharge. Any time you break a wing's charge, you can focus on the other. When they're done you can either force it to charge them again or focus on the exposed tail. Any time you break a charge it'll get toppled, too.

There is nothing cheap about Astalos in any way. You can even make the fight even easier by flash bombing it out of its brief time in the air before it tries to slam you with its tail, jump and land on you like an aerial Zinogre paw pounce or sting you with the tail.

Obviously angry Dino is the best but it's hard to say a specific best during ranking because tiers shift so much as you get more parts available.

This is a stupid question but is there an NPC that can cook me 10 steaks at a time, or however many like in 4U? I can't find which one does it.

Don't know the meaning exposed, huh? After every whiffed paralysis sting, it leaves its tail exposed. It even stops attacking when it's in the air following this and the tail is stationary, then it lands. After a discharge, the tail is left on the ground fully exposed where even a Dual Blades user can get a full Demon Dance on it before Astalos withdraws the tail. After every charge break (wings, head, tail) you topple Astalos and get free hits on the rest of its body, tail, head and wings included.
Every single projectile is telegraphed and once you know which attack is coming, it has no actual chance to hit you. If you stand still wondering "huh, I wonder what that attack is" and then still stand still when you see it's fired its projectile at you, yeah it might actually be a problem. You have seconds before the projectile comes out where you know what is about to come, you have plenty of time to move.

Gammoth doesn't have nearly the movepool of Astalos, it's boring because the fight is only tremors and an attempt to trap you in a snowball. Gammoth is one big target, and even easier for gunners than it is for blademasters because you don't have Gammoth stand on two legs trying to rotate around to you with a guaranteed tremor right at the end of the attack, or that weird as heck five tremor stomp attack. Gammoth is boring because there's no threat to the fight, it has no variety to what it does other than tremor, roar or snowball. Astalos is easy, not cheap

I like discovery, which is why I don't like using the dex.

The old system where weapons show up in the smith when you've gotten some of the materials for it was 100 times better. Seeing all the new weapons and armor after you beat something was great. Now I have to expend resources to even see if anything I have can be upgraded.

If the question marks disappeared after you've beaten it's monster or gotten the key mats for it it would be fine.

Using the Gunner helm lets you trade out the chestpiece for melee mixing.

I don't like how Attack Up is practically what any horn requires to not be shit and how many other songs are mainly filler or too situational. The moveset is intuitive but to me it lacks oomph in both feel and actual strength. I get that you basically trade these things to play party-wide buffs, but time to play music could also be time to hit the monster with stronger attacks.

And the encores are some of the most powerful attacks the horn has, though getting them off requires some timing and experience.

Is it possible to get to Level 6 Deviants and farm them with Rare 3 gear? I'm assuming here, but I was thinking that once you clear a deviant quest, you can't go back to the prior level, making it an incentive to go out and fight them with other players.

I wanted to get either the Hermi or Lagombi set, but seeing as how me and my friend got man-handled to an almost orgasmic level... I'm not too sure.

Just did the high rank urgent, and now they are all level 5, so i assume there are 3 more quests that raise the scouting level.

I have two pages of Insect Glaives to craft, five pages of Light Bow Guns, and everything else has like three-four pages.

This new system is a fuckton better because you can change weapon path at any point instead of being locked into
