Inquisition is just a forgettable piece of shit. DA2 had a more memorable cast and story, and was such a failure as a game that it is still remembered. Inqusition may have been better executed in terms of development but its story is such a boring, disjointed piece of shit, and its cast wholly forgettable, it may as well not have been made.

Ironically, despite DA:I being the better game, it will contribute to the death of Dragon Age more surely than DA2 due to how forgettable and unambitious it was.

and then i thought a little harder and like, there are a few, but – you couldn’t realistically do that? because here’s the thing: historically, comedies with majority-female casts have been about characters in specifically gendered situations, or have only worked plot-wise because of gender roles. like – 9 to 5. the first wives club. clueless. legally blonde. mean girls. bridesmaids. like, sure, you COULD make all-male versions of those, but they’re going to bear almost zero resemblance to the original story, because those stories are specifically GENDERED stories.

whereas the reason why you can make a movie like ghostbusters with an all female cast is because the conceit is universal, since there was no reason to justify them being all men in the first place. male stories are universal. female stories are “about women.”

so, like, men: if you want to steal all the iconic female comedies and remake them, have at it! good luck with that! you’re not going to get very far.

Tbqh there aren't enough choices to make it worth the time.
Expecting world-changing choices everywhere is unrealistic but just different outcomes within not main story relevant sidequests and stuff is all I want. Even Swtor has that, around every corner.

I never took her out so she never had a chance to start hating me. I also gave her some gifts and called her a problematic shitlord during a Dalish-specific conversation (she likes it when you do that for some reason). I think it's actually easier for female characters to start her romance because you get the "I really like your hair" conversation where she gives you compliment with relatively low approval compared to the conversation males get ( "the stars are out, so romantic" or "I feel safe with you", don't really remember it how it goes)
