Guys I'm returning to tf2 after about a year or two of not playing. It hasn't been too difficult of a rehab but one thing I've noticed that kinda confuses me is when I repeatedly sap a teleporter and the engineer is on the other end, he can repair it through the sapper. Is that a bug? Tried looking through the updates real quick but couldn't really find anything.

Well you can hold the sapper button down, but these days it only stops the engineer from coming through and holds their attention. Hard to get a teleporter down when the engineer is actively repairing it as any non-burst class.

that's my point though. previously when the engi attacked a sapper, it didn't repair the teleporter at the same time. he had to hit it a third time after that to heal the building, which wasn't possible if the spy kept placing new sappers.

i looked through the updates and saw nothing about that, so it feels like a bug to me, especially since it doesnt happen with sentries or dispensers
