I'm leveling an alt asap for the first time in years. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to use the pre lvl 85 elixir xp boost thing?
I used it once years ago, just collecting quests in uh, dragonblight until i had 25 finished, then turned them all in and that pretty much got me into cata, then quested hyjal while the elixir wore off. Probably not the worst "method" but definitely not the best.
I have a few 10 min ones i can use as well, was just going to do the "do all but one part on objectives" thing in draenor along with treasures.

Putting aside the likely possibility that he was full of shit and there are actually many many fewer world quests than 1000, it's entirely possible they disabled most of them for beta.
They don't want to show ALL of the content, and considering they have the quests in categories it would be a simple matter to flip the vast majority off until launch.

Presumably they only need to test the base system. That's the idea, at least, but in the beta a few world quests were broken, so if they are leaving a bunch disabled it might result in some issues.

Shadow Priest?
No they are incredible.
Arguably one of the most enjoyable DPS specs since they have nearly unlimited damage potential (Until they get to 100% haste).

Also when you're doing void form you start to get covered in tentacles and your artifact spawns them, so you end up this little patch of malicious squirming void insanity.

It's pretty great.

Easily my favorite ranged DPS I played in the beta.

I don't know about that, main reason I've always returned is because of how fluid combat has always been, every other game has animation canceling/stuttering bugs/GCD bugging out locking up your bar/delays in abilities among many many more problems.

Also because it always has a healthy population to do things with others.

Agree with you on the rest, if they created WoW 2 with literally everything the same just with a new engine, same fluid combat and went back to nonprunned classes mixed in with character sliders it would be a day 1 buy for me instantly.
