Adachi's dungeon is pretty easy desu. If you've been fusing and you've got some items and money for the fox then you should be okay.
The extra dungeon has a couple of annoying little gimmicks, and that's all the difficulty. Try to fuse a persona with Victory Cry for it.

To be fair, they have been getting better. And when they aren't, there's at least usually some kind of fan made patch to make it at least on par with a console release.
