The journey is the same, but the personality is not. People of the same arcana react differently to their journeys because their personality isn't the same. Take Adachi and Yu for example, they were in the same psychosocial stage, but Adachi was more stuborn and materialist, whereas Yu was more wishy-washy.

But what I'm trying to say, in the simplest terms, is that you shouldn't say you've lost if you haven't even tried. Complacency is fucking easy. I've been a depressed piece of shit for a good chunk of my life, and I will likely continue to be one for many days to come. I know what it's like to wake up and feel weak and helpless. I know what it's like to see the empty, lonely days extending out for miles in front of you. But I also know that raw, hard effort changed a lot of shit in my life. I know that every time an opportunity appeared that frightened me or made me doubt my abilities, I refused to say no, and I charged forward. I know people who are full of potential that just gave up and didn't even try--people who could have done so much with their lives, but they didn't give a shit or didn't think much of themselves and didn't put the first foot forward to try.

This is all cliche because a lot of people who did a lot of major shit and followed their dreams or whatever heard the call and struck forward. Even people who didn't achieve what they wanted now have stories to tell and experiences they wouldn't have had if they decided to remain complacent.

I am clinically diagnosed bipolar type 1. The last time I was manic I convinced myself I was the second coming of Jesus, receiving commands from God through the television and the radio in a code that only I could decipher. When I calmed down a few months later I was so disgusted with myself over it that I cut contact with all of my family and friends and shut myself in my apartment. I wake up every day and drink until I pass out, because as awful as being a drunkard is it's mildly more tolerable than the tardive dyskinesia given by the drugs used to treat my condition.

I haven't left the apartment in 4 years other than to buy liquor/groceries. I haven't spoken to anyone outside of 4chan in the same amount of time. All of my former friends think I'm dead and I had to change my phone number so that I would stop getting desperate calls from my father and sisters. At this point I am so far removed from society I doubt reentry would ever be possible. Even before I became a hikki it was very hard to function. I am only counting the days until I run out of money. I don't know if I'll kill myself or just wander around between homeless shelters. It would be nice if I could get a gun and end it in the most painless way possible, but I would never pass the background check because of the time I was institutionalized. In any case I doubt I have many years left in my liver.

And even worse Persona 5 got delayed again.

It is presently obvious that P5 will have little if any "narrative voice" from P3/4 where an unknown voice says "you contemplate X and you felt Y" and will instead have Morgana musing on everything you do and praising or denouncing it's effects.

Morgana is in your backpack and follows you literally everywhere you go so there are few scenarios in which a passive voice would be necessary. Until Morgana gets hurt or runs away and "alone" or "living with determination" equivalent starts playing.

My Persona 5 favorite pairing is :
>Phantom x Futaba
>Ryuji x Ann
>Yusuke x Haru
>Goro x Makoto.

Phantom is obviously with Futaba cause their live in the same building, which make them easier to interact at each other, even though she's a shut in. From Futaba's profile also a clear case that she'll open up to Phantom and can interact to him only while being shy and covering her face at other people.
Ryuji and Ann are obvious too. Two School outcasts will stay together for consolation. Moreover after Kamoshida accident.
Yusuke and Haru are quite unique case. Yusuke is a talented and possibly famous artist while Haru is rich scion daughter of Food franchise owner. Both seems found at each other for being expected to behave and cater like high class people for the sake of their superficial dignity, which is tiring to them from being forced by Madarame and Haru's father. It is also the reason why Yusuke became awkward and Haru found no value in relationship.
Goro and Makoto is easy one. Both of them are connected to law enforcement element and tied by one character: Sae Nijima. The lady is clearly a close family to Makoto (whether as a mother or sister) and superior to Goro at work place (In E3 trailer when Goro is on air at TV show, he mentioned that he will get scolded by Sae for his habits muttering thoughts out loud). I can see Sae can approve Goro's relationship with Makoto but not without testing him to prove if he's really worthy for her blood relative.
