I did update it twice. It was fine before when I had a9lh v1, then I updated to v2 noscreeninit. Got problems, then switched again to v2 screeninit, still got the same problems.

It's weird because it seems like my 3ds gets bricked temporarily, requiring like 5-10 restarts just to get it to boot normally then it's fine for a few boots until it fucks up again. Booting payloads like D9/luma config always works 100% of the time though.

Anything interesting going on in 3DS homebrew/CFW land recently?
Apart from the a9lh on nand (which I hear is unsafe)

Sorry, I got the file formats mixed up. You might already know this, but bgm.ogg is used as the music preview in CHMM2, so bgm.bcstm is the file used in the home menu. All I can suggest is deleting bgm.ogg and installing it through CHMM2, sorry.

When you load the console without the SD card ,A9LH loads its own miniCFW through the NAND. it currently only does signature patching and firm protection. Its missing TWL/AGB support

Just choose "Content Decryptor" and there, pick "CIA Decryptro (Deep)".
Only works if you have a seeddb.bin with the correct seed in it.

Just installed Skeith, and everything is working fine except for the language emulation. I've got all my files in the skeith/locales/ folder, and on my Japanese console, Majora's Mask still crashes upon boot, and Hyrule Warriors Legends still runs in Japanese, even though it was working just fine in Luma

Has anyone else ever had this problem?

It got the better of me, so I took my original Luma .txt formatted language files and just threw them into the Skeith locale folder. When that didn't work, I made a copy of the locale folder and renamed it locales. When that didn't work, I made a Corbenik folder on the root, and copied the locale and locales folder and put them in there. Still didn't work.

My 3DS is a Japanese N3DS

On Luma, this would work as intended and let Majora's Mask actually launch, and run my Japanese copy of Hyrule Warriors in English

On Skeith/Corbenik, Majora's Mask will show the Skull Kid in the bottom right corner of the screen, and instead of doing his dancing loading animation, he's completely static until my 3DS spits an error message at me and reboots itself. For Hyrule Warriors, it boots in Japanese instead of English. This was also how Luma reacts if I don't use language emulation in it.

I've also turned on the patch in Corbenik and Skeith that SHOULD patch my system version in the System Settings, but it doesn't do that either, so the problem clearly has nothing to do with the actual language emulation, but with my CFW install itself.

I used a NOR flasher on my slim; you must disassemble the console and clip a piece of hardware onto your NOR chip to dump the firmware and then patch it. There's no soldering for that, but I don't know if fats need to solder.

Hi lads, I've been following Plailect's guide and I got to the point where I was downgrading to 9.2.0

It was installing fine but half way through installation, I got an official looking nintendo error which said "an error has occured ... please restart the console".

Does this mean my console is currently in a state of "partial downgrade" as the guide says?

Do I have to restart the whole guide because menuhax no longer boots the homebrew launcher.
