Looking at the "Spoiler Warning" series about Fallout 4, they complain about Mr. Handy fuel canisters. Isn't that because the Mr. Handy has a flame thrower?
>>
>>147407965
No, despite running on atomic energy it needs fuel.
>>
>>147407854

I'd like it more if the Visor was 2 parts. But that can be easily fixed.

But that can wait. I've got animu hairs to do.
>>
>>147408017
The thruster is a nuclear air turbine, the flame thrower would still require fuel.

It seems like its just Bone that was doing it though. It took me like...20 seconds to take out 1500 bone and put it in a trunk. I thought the game froze for a moment while doing this.

Taking ALL of my other stuff out (over 53,000 pounds of components), it took like 6-7 seconds. Took 2-3 seconds to put all that stuff back in.

Its most definitely bone causing this for some weird ass reason.

>WORKS FOR ME GUYS!

There was a time when NMM literally DDoS'd the Nexus, making it the number one reason why the servers were extremely slow and down every 2 hours for the longest time.
While this mostly has been resolved by now, it still shows how inept the NMM writers are.

Also, it literally has zero customization, forces you to update it and being stuck with broken versions until they get fixed, and only works when the Nexus works.
The main issue is, that it often bugs out when you're using mods with lose files instead of .BA2 files (so, 90% of all mods) - resulting in missing textures/sounds/meshes - which the users then blame on the mod-authors. In addition to that, it pretty much only recognizes Nexus mods, which means that you painstakingly have to create and organize folders whenever you want to use Workshop mods, or mods downloaded from the OP, etc., in order for NMM to even properly recognize them.

Until there's a proper version of MO or Wrye, you're just better off installing and managing your mods manually and/or sorting them with LOOT - which literally is just copy/pasting anyway, and the only excuse for not being able to manage something simple like that is being a completely inept, retarded piece of shit.

>Overriding directive to not alter our synths' basic functioning notwithstanding, Father has granted clearance for a rather unique project.

>In select Gen 3 units, the synthetic brain is indeed capable of accepting specific enhancements to the visual cortex, basal ganglia and right parietal cortex. The result is substantially improved combat effectiveness, due to two factors:

>1.) An increased understanding of weapon accuracy, to the extent that the combatant can actually visualize the percentage of effectively hitting targets (or smaller areas on those targets).

>2.) An altered sense of perception that mimics the effect of slowing, or even stopping, time.

Ironically, this is the number one reason why people stick to NMM, ignoring every possible risk and denying facts, just so they don't have to use scary, "complex" programs like WryeBash - or because they're either outright afraid of breaking stuff, or too lazy when it comes to manually installing mods.

>>147429309
given that no one has ever been seen using eyewear when using VATs, I don't think so.

Its one of those things the Pipboy just DOES without explanation, like how it can accurately monitor all your major body parts, and tell if they are broken, despite having no sensors anywhere but on your arm
>>
>>147429134
The differences can be passed off as different updates/hardware/maintenance of the pipboy.

The 2000 had more complex calculations, but it took up a lot of processing power so it limited the utility of the pipboy, the 3000 (and variants) is more streamlined, and can switch off the combat calculations when not in use.
The 3000 in fo4 has been collecting dust for 200 years so the calculations are a little slower (resulting in a lag between actions) whereas the one in 3 was well kept so it was near-instantaneous.

Not to mention its pointed out several times that Father is an elderly man, dying of cancer, with extreme regret of not know who is parents were, to the point he freed his father for no real reason, and let him loose on the war filled remains of the Commonwealth, just to see how his father would act, and even if his father would try to look for him, and if his father COULD find him.

He also had his top synth scientist work on a child synth prototype of himself just so he could give it to his father as a "sorry you couldn't be there to raise me, here's a child synth version of myself so you can have the happy family you always wanted"

Father isn't a rational man, he has major daddy/mommy worship problems fueled by his impending death

Slavery has been around since FO1. I think 4 is the only one that doesn't have slaves.

Why would prostitution not be okay? Assuming the prostitute isn't a slave and you believe in freedom of choice, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Not to mention Cait was sold as a sex-slave by her parents, and Bullet tries to capture billy and his parents for slaves.

Most of the East Coast's slavery is run by Ashur down in The Pitt though, and hasn't spread as far as New England.

Some of the robots have started becoming sentient though.

Codsworth started spiralling into an existential crisis because he didn't know what to do with himself after the bombs fell. He spent years cleaning rubble because his programming compelled him to do it, but he knew 100% it was completely futile. The best way I can think of to describe a robot like Codsworth is that he's the equivalent of a human with crippling OCD, and that OCD can only be controlled by external forces i.e. you. Because you weren't there to tell him what to do, his underlying programming kept telling him to clean.

Becuase Gen 1/2's dont work fine. ITs noted that are prone to constant break downs and error in their programming causing them to walk into walls and shit all the time.

>Why did they make supermutants and release them into the commonweath?
Because, had you played the game, you would know the FEV experiments were being used to develop better strains of FEV to use for synths

>Why do they make shitty blue flashlight lasers that are worse than old 200+ years ones?
Because a blue laser would be more efficient then a red one energy wise.

>Why did they cancel their cybernetics program?
Father OUTRIGHT states onhis terminal he had the program canned becuase no one in The Institute cared about the increased strength of reflexes, all they cared about was making themselves immortal, and Father saw how tha would ruin them like it made Kellogg even more crazy.

Not difficult at all, with a properly min/maxed build - which you shouldn't aim for, because it would defeat the entire purpose of playing in survival.

My advice is, grab a mod that caps your level at, let's say, 50 and aim for a build that fits your character's theme/playstyle and enjoy the ride.

Not really, there are dozens of flaws with the human body. Your hand is a good example, the little finger provides almost no grip strength. It is a worthless addition and a major weakpoint. There are caravan trailers, a few people and a brahmin aren't going to level out a path large enough for a car.

People complained that bandits in Oblivion had Daedric Armor, so now raiders have SHIT
>>
>>147450258
Because Fallout 2 had a vehicle, mostly.

Personally? The real big thing with Bethsoft sandboxes is that the distances between buildings/ruins/cities/settlements is compressed and to keep a reasonable scale with the world the settlements/areas are densely packed (usually) but physically tiny. Case in point Oblivion's cities.

I say fuck the sandbox approach to Fallout and opt for a open-world with vast amounts of space to cover, but plenty of random encounters, road stops, small trade posts, and raider dens in the country, et cetera, ala a three-dimensional Fallout 1 or 2.

None of what you described is world building.

>compare 2008's gta iv to fallout 3
I have, one a game where 99.99% of everything is a static object, where NPcs cant be interacted with, annd lack any sort of complex schedule, and that lacks physics on anything but cars.

The other has all of those things, and takens up far more graphics/processing power for it.

Its a total false comparison that ignores everything that makes the games different in order to just yell MUH GRAPHICS!

>In gta v you can drive up whole mountains and rocks who cares if it has been hit by a nuke.
GTA is also a game infamously known for its wonky as fuck car physics, where even the slightest bump can send you flying in the air.

That in Fallout would make drving impossible.

>No it isn't in gta v it's a option that you can do if you want to explore around
Except theres nothing to explore in a GTA game since the entire game world it just miles of empty landscape or cardboard buildings.

Theres more to explore in downtown Boston there then is in Vice city and GTA 3 combined.

The only reason to "explore" in GTA is for pointless collectables like the horseshoes in San Andreas.

>No but they all have something that Bethesda tries, and doesn't do as good.
And all of those games are have a far more limited scope, and thus have the time to polish those features more compared to Bethesda's games which do a lot.

You take a NPC out of his area in fallout 3 & they won't no what to do.
Fallout 3 lacks physics on anything but NPCs and dropped props
In gta iv you can actually move doors, break fences and gates, pick up and throw soda cans without changing what they are, shoot glass, and even push water with the force of your car or the force created by helicopters.
Fallout 3 crashes all of the time, mean while gta iv has only crashed due to hackers overloading the game. Fallout 3 has worse graphics and less stuff actually going on in game, yet still crashes and overloads itself on all platforms xbox 360 ps3 and high quality PCs.

Plus EVERY buidling in gta iv and gta v are unique, mean while even in fallout 4 every other house church and apartment building is exactly the same!

No duh a game from 2001 has less to see then a game from 2015.
The only reason to "explore" in fallout 4 is to find pointless collectibles like bobble heads, just like in gta if you want to find a quest, just look at the radar, Bethesda always makes sure that one quest will have you run into another quest.

The issue I have with Fallout 4's perk system is that many perks feel like they could have been combined into multiple levels, instead of just getting stupid little effects that don't matter as you ranked them up.

For example you have Fortune Finder and Scrounger. Yes they're both split in past games, but in Fallout 4 it should have been something like

>Fortunate Scrounger

>Level 2: Find more rare ammo and even more caps

So I have a question about Robot-Building. I've heard that building advanced robots with high level melee weapons (hammer saws, shishkebabs, etc) is a good use of resources as they do a lot of damage.

What about long ranged? Can I build a robot with lightning guns modded out for high energy damage and long range perception and have it snipe my enemies with any accuracy? I'd like to be able to have a robot buddy who can shoot a Vertibird out of the air, for example.

different robots have different AI, which effects their utility.

Base Protectrons suck, but they might occasionally pull some kung fu dirty boxing out of their ass and stun-lock something in melee. Giving them ranged weapons in pointless.

Mr Handy's don't do long range that well. They rape shit with flamers really well. Giving them a pair of mini-gun arms is apparently viable.

Base Assaultrons rape face in melee. Modded Assaultrons either stack bleed or use energy melee weapons and stack energy damage boosts.

Sentry Bots are not good for dungeon crawling.

Robobrains are small sentry bots with slightly better melee ai (they can block). Give them a pair of gatling lasers and call it a day.

A. There was really no reason to go after Benny, and that they should have just let the player leave the mojave to its fate by leaving the region via the Mojave outpost.

B. That House's complete and total destruction of the three families tribal routes in a mere 7 years is highly implausible, and an unfortunate result of no one really paying attention to that aspect of the plot before it was too late to change.

If you had payed attention to Fawkes dialogue previously, he makes several comments showing he believed in Zen Buddhism, a trait shared with the only other sane super mutant in Fallout 3, Uncle Leo.

It's only your "destiny" because fawkes chose it. It could easily be his destiny, because fawkes, against all the odds, was lead to that point too.

Fawkes also should have known this. The zen buddhism excuse is just a cop out to justify complete irrationality from an otherwise highly rational character.
>>
In the NMM, what's the difference between a Mod and a Plugin?
>>
>>147460681
>It's only your "destiny" because fawkes chose it.
No, its our destiny because literally the whole game was about you finding your dad and finding out why he left, which was the water purifier machine.

Fawkes did nothing to determine that
>>
>>147459774
But they don't need a pre-war airstrike, unlike the BOS who can't do a thing without liberty prime.

You can do the NCR quest without actually getting the help of anyone.

You can use SPEECH to convince Lanius that he might as well retreat and give up while he still literally has his head because he lost already, and that requires multiple 100 peach checks.
>>147459986
Destiny is one thing, pushing a button and dying willfully while Fawkes is willfully ignorant of how he could save his friends life, by paying him back through this one single request. The lone wanderer still saved the day, he just had someone else push a few buttons.

Fawkes wasn't the one who decided to storm the water purifier for their dad, and the betterment of the wasteland.

PLUS THAT "BUDDHIST" RETARD THAT CAN ONLY RECITE OLD BOOKS HE'S READ NOT ONLY IS LETTING SOMEONE ELSE DIE, BUT

ALSO ASKING OF THE LONE-WANDERER TO DO SOMETHING WITHOUT ANYTHING IN RETURN, THE WANDER FREE'D FAWKES AND THAT BITCH ASS PSEUDO INTELLECTUAL WON'T REPAY HIM. FAWKES MUST HAVE SO MUCH NEGATIVE LIFE KARMA IF HE IS A REAL BUDDHIST, WHERE IS THE BALANCE WHEN WAS FAWKES GOING TO DO THE WANDERER A FAVOR OF EQUAL VALUE? WALKING AROUND AND KILLING PEOPLE WAS HIS CHOICE, IT WASN'T REPAYMENT.
>>
>>147460793
Fawkes doesn't know you're in a video game. From his perspective, his entire journey in life has lead to him being found by you, to being put in a situation where a radiation immune super mutant with scientific knowledge can improve the lives of thousands of people while avoiding the death of another.

Your argument relies on fawkes somehow knowing that he's not the main character in a video game. It's bullshit todd, and you know it.

Which is why they fixed it later, iirc.
>>
>>147460316
Didn't that also have to do with why the desert rangers joined the ncr?
>>
>>147460793
>No, its our destiny because literally the whole game was about you finding your dad and finding out why he left, which was the water purifier machine.
yeah well maybe it's our destiny to help rebuild a life in the wasteland and help distribute the water.

fawkes just fucked everything up.
>>
>>147461034
The idea of destiny existed before video games.

>Which is why they fixed it later, iirc.
No they changed it because people wanted to play after the main game ended so they had to retcon shit.
>>
>>147461048
Yes.

>>147461034
>Fawkes doesn't know you're in a video game.
He doesn't have too.

To turn your own argument around, his journey in life led him to a man/woman who was on a quest to find their father, and finish their father's work, and at the last moment, when that person was faced with death, Fawkes found himself there to tell that person that they cant back out of their own destiny, even if it means dying completing it.

They didn't have to make fawkes relent on his destiny opinions. They just had to introduce a miraculous survival.

But they specifically chose to retcon fawkes, because his attitude made no sense.

And let's not forget they did this same shit with Mr. Gutsy and Charon, both of whom are also rad resistant/immune.

The entire fallout 3 ending pre-broken steel is a giant mess of a plothole, and you know it todd. It was designed purely to force an artificial and meaningless choice on the players, and ignored the characters they had surrounded themselves with the entire time. That's why you approved the retcons in the first place.
>>
>>147459986
>It was that one civil war soldier's destiny to stop slaver not Abraham Lincoln or Ulysses.

The lone wander is going to purify the water no matter what, Fawkes doesn't change anything, he doesn't stop the wander's destiny only changes the way it happens, like those final destination movies death will happen, even if someone tries to get in the way or change something.
>>

Na, they approved the rectons because they knew they could make more money by caving into fan demand and ignoring literally everything else about how the game pushed a Jesus allegory narrative where you are supposed to die for the sins of mankind.

Even then though, they still mocked all the players who pussied out of their destiny by saying a "TRUE HERO" went into the purifier because you were too cowardly to do it yourself

Death is not his destiny, his destiny is to finish his father's work.

Fawkes pushing the button doesn't change his or her destiny, there is no backing out in going down that path.

Actually it does.

Myron in Fallout 2 specifically mentions that the pre-war companies who made the protien that causes brahmin shit to be a drug knew it was a drug, and fed it to cows, after they discovered it had drug like effects on humans, because they didn't want to waste all the money they had put into it.

It was known pre-war to be a drug, and is stated as such in Fallout 2.

The idea that none of the ultra shady companies in the Fallout unvierse tried to sell the drug is zero.

We also know the Bishop wife I think it was was using Jet back before Myron was even alive.

About This File

This is a character preset for the looksmenu mod containing the likeness of an unbelievably beautiful reality television celebrity Heathyr Hoffman from season 1 (2009) of the SyFy channel reality show ghost hunters academy.
In real life, the beauty of this hyper-vixen is very difficult to put into words. Let's just say that she gives A-list Hollywood bombshells like
Jennifer Lawrence, Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Johansson, Kate Upton, and Megan Fox a run for their money in terms of raw physical
attractiveness and is arguably the sexiest woman on planet Earth right now.
Seriously, do women get more painfully hot than this? Heathyr Hoffman has the body of an angel, a face so perfect that God himself may have carved it out of soap while in the shower, and sex appeal that could melt a unicorn’s horn. Plus, we hear she smells like clouds!

Not him, but IIRC the Enclave's original plan was to use the Vault experiments to study the effects of various situations in confined environments, while they prepared to fly the remnants of the U.S. Government off of the planet to colonize elsewhere. Ostensibly the experiments were to assist with observing possible social failure modes for the space mission prior to actually launching. The plan was ultimately scrapped because the war beat them to finishing the spacecraft they needed - the Hubologist Shuttle is a remnant of that plan.

Poseidon, West-tek, and Vault-Tec were all to some degree either paying into, or being paid by the Enclave.

>>
>>147466752
>Fair enough, but how would transforming a thousand humans into muties 'training' or 'social experiment' to make them 'ready' for space ?

Look at the nature of the experiments:

Vault 12: Radiation Exposure. The medical data as well as the effects on productivity and social strain due to the illness and productivity issues are valuable information when you're travelling through space, as well as depending on where you decided to set up your colony.

Vault 13: Long-term isolation. I'm sure I don't have to explain why a spaceflight program might have benefited from this sort of research.

Vault 15: Culturally and Racially diverse populations forced together. Useful, as it allows you to work out if any division of crew by race or culture is needed.

Vault 27: Intense overcrowding. Useful study for both crewing consideration for the trip, as well as working out considerations for the colony after the fact.

Aside from the joke Vaults, most of them can be seen to have a research purpose for the planned mission - it's not to prepare the inhabitants to leave the dead Earth. It's to prepare the control Vault citizens and the Enclave to leave the dead Earth. The others are just test subjects to be used and disposed of.
>>
Glowing Sea settlement when? Living in a place very few could survive would be nice. Build a machine that creates an anti-radiation bubble around the borders of your settlement.

None at all. It may have even gone up. I'm always cruising at 60 in 97% of the map so there isn't much to base it off of. But one can assume that since your GPU doesn't have to process the blur anymore that it would lighten the load and you would get better FPS.

>So your defense is "It's a game"?

Not him, but is that seriously what you got from what they were saying?

The Courier represents the concept of the wild card - something that can cause a precarious situation to fall apart in a heartbeat.

New Vegas is about being the Black Hand.

Additionally, the NCR may have plenty of supplies, but they're strung out, dealing with serious desertion, internal conflict (from both internal power factions, as well as groups such as the Power Gangers or Khans that are serving to further break their grip over the region,) are behest to play by the rules of the local dictator, have caravan monopolies engaging in open warfare and collusion against each other at the expense of their economy, are trying to tame a frontier that doesn't really want them, and meanwhile have a massive tribal army sitting there, just waiting for them to slip.

The NCR isn't just corrupt or bloated. They're caught in a minefield of rocks and hard places, and have a wolf (or at least an asshole wearing the pelt of one,) staring them down, just waiting for a misstep. It's a stalemate, until a wild card gets introduced.

Radiation travels at the speed of light, even heavy particles leave the nucleus at around 15,000 km/second. Even if he survived the explosion, he would be shitting out his own organs within a day.

>I don't understand warfare on a strategic scale

It's not about the NCR being able to inflict superior casualties (for a time, at least.) It's about them being able to hold the dam. Hoover Dam is immensely valuable - it provides a significant amount of power to the greater NCR, is a massive symbol of NCR conquest, and is a massive defensive strongpoint.

However, the same is true of the other side. Artillery can only do so much (especially against dug-in troops, and I speak from experience there,) and they can mow down your infantry just as effectively as you can theirs. You need a decisive advantage to make that kind of a push.

If an NCR offensive into Legion territory fails, that's a massive risk to the NCR. If the dam falls, Caesar might decide to have it destroyed. As well, that means that the Legion just opened up a massive hole in your front line, and your rearguard is nearly non-existent thanks to massive prison breakouts, active anti-NCR groups all over the place, and the lack of any actual consolidated control over much of the area west of Hoover.

Actually it does, most of the master's first gen super mutants were pure humans not exposed to a lot of radiation. Mean while the gen 2 dumb dumbs who also weren't as perfected as 1'st gens weren't as pure.
Vault 87 super mutants, and institute ones to a less extent are neither as perfected as gen 1 or even gen 2 and are also way way more irradiated as they are either dragged through vault 87's door and almost ghoulified or something else because honestly that is a plot hole. or they live in Boston which has radiation storms, and most people kidnapped had to have been dirty raiders.

So yeah radiation does have an effect, if the institute knew how to make mutants like the master, and abducted the sole survivor then "dipped him" He could be another Marcus.

The project branch they were part of only kicked off in late '76, and experimentation barely lasted a year after the war. It's likely they hadn't reached a point where they really believed that they had exhausted all routes of experimentation when the subjects broke free from containment.

Whats funny is that the LEgion has zero anti-air defences at the Fort, and we can see at the Long 15 that the NCr has a small fleet of vertibirds parked within sight distance of the Ranger monument at the Mojave outpost.

It was a theory initially started in the Fallout bible when Avellone sided with Tim Cain in the belief that airborne FEV doesn't exist, and all post-war mutations are the result of prolonged expose to radiation.

It was mentioned for the first time in-game in Fallout 3, on the terminal of doc barrows in the Underworld, and Billy's parents make a reference to it when Billy asks why his parent looked all messed up like he does.

>In summary: I theorize that our unnaturally long lifespan is due to a mutation within the autonomic nervous system of certain individuals following exposure to specific combinations of ionizing radiation with wavelengths below 10 picometers. This mutation, it seems, disrupts the normal process of decay in the neurotransmitters along the spinal cord.

>Specifically, the transmitters effected are those responsible for cardiac and respiratory function in a healthy human. According to my studies, these transmitters are continually regenerated after mutation, carrying sufficient oxygen to sustain the life of the subject while being insufficient to retain skin elasticity and avoid necrosis, the result of which is the corpse-like appearance of post-mutation humans. It should be noted that exposure to radiation typically result in sickness followed by death and the x-factor that will lead to mutation upon exposure in lieu of the typical outcome remains unknown to this researcher.

You really think pushing through a choke point with light armored vehicles is a good idea? Especially against an entrenched enemy?
Caesar isn't an idiot - do you really think he has his army literally just charging in? The fact that he thinks he can sit near the front while the fires of his camp cast soot upon the NCR shore of the river indicates that they're probably in a pretty good strongpoint.

(This subject is further covered in report on the dissection of Feral Necrotic Post-Humans)

>The distinctive luminescence that is the trademark of the Glowing One can be best attributed to an unusual amount of radioactive chemicals that building up in the bloodstream and muscle tissue of a typical Ghoul. Upon the transformation into a Feral Ghoul, the neurological systems of the body cease filtering these particles from the blood and tissue, instead causing them to build a distinctive bioluminescence that is distinctive of the "Glowing Ones".

>Their social structure seems to be different from that of the Feral Ghoul. They actively seek out others of both their strain and those afflicted with Ferocious Post-Necrotic Dystrophy, particularly those who may have been injured. Studies on the nature of their healing effects on other ghouls continues with no conclusive results as of yet.

>The brain structure of a Feral Necrotic Post-Human indicates that the regenerative ability of the neurological systems that affords typical Necrotic Post-Humans their longevity does not extend into the higher reasoning functions of the brain itself. This is a condition that I refer to as Ferocious Post-Necrotic Dystrophy

>As the reasoning and high order thinking portions of the brain deteriorate, the Post-Human subject becomes increasingly hostile, giving into a carnal need to feed as opposed to the capacity for thinking that reasoning that a typical Necrotic Post-Human retains. It remains unclear exactly what precipitates this change in biology and psychology, but anecdotal evidence seems to indicate that non-social ghouls, or those in isolation, are more prone to the condition

No they are not, in lore, vertbirds are so hard to take down that the BoS had to build the Tesla canon just to have even a shot at it.

Vertibirds being weak in Fallout 4 is the result of a bug in the leveled list that causes only the level 20 versions to spawn, and prevents the level 30, 40, and 50, versions, which have far more HP and armor, from spawning.

Unfortunatly, no one knows why the bug occurs, and even Arthmoor has looked at the levlede lists and scripts and says they all look fine, so he has no diea why this happens.

Level 50 versions can be occasionally spotted once you reach over level 10, but they are rare even then,.

Except we see both in the NCR president's Vertibird, and all the vertibirds at the Long 15, that they are the same model as the ones used by the enclave on the east coast.

The vertibirds seen in Fallout 3 were always meant to be the same ones seen in Fo1/2, just with new art.

I've found myself liking the institute a bit more if you lurk around them and overhear conversations. Add in you being in charge at the end and even fucking Piper thinking that the Institute might do some good when yer in charge if you max her affinity. The RR just doesn't have the resources to do any good for the Commonwealth as a whole, and if Libertalia is any indication, the population surge caused by freeing the synths is just going to further strain the resources of the Commonwealth without any sort of authority around to take control.
>>

BoS soldiers exclusively mention ferals in all of their random dialog options.

While they dislike non-ferals, at no point does a BoS solider mention killing non-ferals.

Even after taking over PAM, PAM's new lines mentions ferals specifically as being the threat, with no mention being made aobut non-ferals.

Actually they do, and Desdemona even explains what it is, the protect of ysnths from all the racists and bigots who would try to kill them regardless of their affiliation with The Institute or not.

They also ask you to kill members of the L&L gang, a coalition of raider groups that targe suspected synths

Synths are not a race, so you can't be racist against synths, unless they're also black.

Also, since no one knows who is a synth or not after the Institute is gone, the Railroads mandate is effectively eternal. Just no.

They're terrorists, but because they're attacking the Institute, most people don't give a fuck. Once they start targeting ordinary wastelanders to push their agenda, they're no better than the Institute.

No it's not. Synths are not a race. They assume characteristics unique to various human haplogroups and behaviors unique to various cultures, but that is a result of programming not genetics.

tl/dr: Synths have races, but are not a race in and of themselves. Same goes for Ghouls and other mutants.

I am legitimately sad you guys.
I posted maybe a couple threads ago, maybe last week or whatever.

But the problem I've been having is, no mod seems to be installing properly at all. I am running on a pirated version, but it's files are not in a .ba2 format so I can add/remove files in there.

I have tried manual installing and I've tried nexus mod manager.. neither seem to work except for a single, ponytail hairstyles mod. should I dump NMM for FOMM instead??

what should I be doing, is there a chance I missed an important detail of some kind?

I tried for about a week and gave up because it squeezed out pretty much all of my free time outside of work for no progress.
