Help me /d2g/

I play Doom fairly often, and even though i always end up doing well (Not just in score. I mean in gpm/xpm, hero damage, tower damage, etc), i have a pretty poor win-rate as him.

Does anyone have any tips? It feels like Doom needs everything at the same time, so no matter what i build, i always end up lacking somewhere and we lose. I know i am messing up somewhere, but i cant really see what.

How exactly do you guys build him? What to with? I am guessing my big issue with him steems from just failing to build him right (And the fact i am terrible at this game, but everyone at my MMR is shit anyway).

actually 100% situational, blink/shadowblade if you have one hero you NEED to doom, arcane boots into greaves is good for push, armor, mana, self purge, shivas is good later for armor, but at that point its all lategame decisions.
just focus on your lvl 2-5 rotations, get small items, solve your armor problem through creeps/items asap and try to make rotations at night, smoke if need be.
a lvl 3 doom 2 min into the game running down the enemy team is much stronger than it sounds (with 1-1-1 build)

Fuck this hero honestly. How is this hero even balanced? Silencer is probably one of the few heroes that will shit throughout the entire enemy if they don't get BKB and retards don't go for BKB. Then it's too late when they get BKB because your physical damage w/ glaives hits them for ~120 dmg a pop and it's pure dmg even so you can just go for a Dragon Lance or SnY and you will literally become a carry.

If Silencer gets any more buff, he's one step from being cancer. All Icefrog literally needs is to give Silencer another INT gain and he's gonna be the INT version of TB.

Phase is really great for chasing down kills early on but I find arcanes into greaves is way better in the long run
Infused raindrops are a really nice pickup early on to help the mana issues
Pos 4 Doom is really versatile and he can farm better than most so just buy whatever will win the game. Sometimes thats a vanguard to act as a tanky frontliner, sometimes its pipe to counter mass magic damage, other times its sb/blink to ensure a doom on a key hero

Literally the last few events have had great viewership, an out-performed the cs go events that where on at the time.

Dota 2 actually looks very stable right now when compared to cs go and league. The viewership is stagnant at worse, meanwhile nobody in lol is even pretending that LCS viewership has tanked, and cs go's tv league is a borderline flop.

CS GO also just had a 765k lan that got like 180k viewers for it's final, and a dreamhack event that had like less than 200k, which is probably the lowest for a cs dreamhack event in years.

There is nothing to sponsor in league, it's all riot controlled. And E-league is currently sucking the life out of the cs go scene, draining third party lans of their viewers and making it beyond difficult for them to get more than 2-3 top teams at their events.

I've been trying to support my way out of 3K
Smash the early game only to see the cores throw the unthrowable so many times
Lately I won a few games that seemed unwinnable because I flipped out and did something different instead of just trying to support gud as the game gradually falls apart for us
I feel like this is the sort of shit I have to do to escape, just playing your role slightly above average means you deserve that 51% winrate and glacial climb

this is a retarded question, but when i jungle axe and im going for the creep stack i usually try to stack at 54 seconds but sometimes when im stacking the creep runs back too early and that stops the next set of creeps from spawning. How do i prevent that so I never fail my stack?

Also, as a side note how do you stop lifestealer late game, and heroes who jungle?

How do you keep yourself from tilting when you picked support just so the other retards don't throw a bitch fit and make it a lost game from the start but your cores are doing super poorly (like 1-2 items at minute 30) and you can't do anything to salvage that shitshow of a game?

Of course it's hard if the enemy has a hero that can be everywhere, like Storm or Prophet, but you gotta do what u gotta do.

Also, buy utility items like Force and Glimmer. They are top tier items tied to a low ammount of stats so carry don't get em.

Pick a support that can take objectives singlehandedly like SS, Visage, BM, Pugna and take the fate of the game into your own hands

Recognize when you need to die with your team and when you need to trade objectives which is what your dogshit carries are supposed to be doing. Don't be afraid to skimp on wards if they're not stopping your team from getting ganked and you getting items can win you the game

Alternatively pick a support that can interfere with the enemy carry's attempts to farm. Nyx+1 can kill just about anyone.

Ok, blog time.

I qued for a seasonal ranked game as the game coordinator went down. After everything started working again, I got instantly matched and got into the game where the matchmaking broke pretty bad. The average mmr for the match was under 2.5k and I was the highest as 4.7k. Our opponents highest was tbd.
What a fucking shitshow. It really opens your eyes when you complain about 4k average games and then play a game with 2k players. It was completely irrelevant what the other 9 people did during the game. They really played in their own world. I just farmed at a normal pace while observing what was happening over the map.
Somehow their highest rated player (the tbd) managed to lose mid to a random 2k shitter and people were buying more shadowblades than I could imagine. I tried to convince my teammates to carry dust for easy kills, but not a big surprise they didn't buy. No one listened at all, no matter what chat I tried to use. First wards were bought at minute 7 and the courier was upgraded by me at some point. People were complaining about not saying misses and didn't know how to skill their heroes or what items to buy.
I farmed a little and started taking over the game. I threw curve-balls at the opponents by buying dust and this seemed to take them outside their comfort zone after invisibility was proven to be counter-able. We won shortly after.

The point of this is that I hadn't realized how drastic the skill difference was. I always knew there was some difference between mmr's, but the difference is so huge. The difference between 4k and 5k average games is pretty big, but people in 2k are playing in their own little world. You will climb in mmr for sure if you are any good, your teammates don't matter at all in most of the games until high 3k or low 4k or so.

If you are good, carry the games as whatever role until teamwork and skill start mattering.
