I've been attempting to learn unity but I can't find any tutorials that will help me achieve my goal. Are there any good resources for those with zero coding knowledge? I don't want to make anything overly complex, just a first person exploration game with minimal puzzle solving and dialogue. But every detailed tutorial is always on how to make a generic shooter and doesn't explain in simple terms what I need to construct my game. tl;dr I'm a retard please spoonfeed me in the direction of "unity for dummies with extra hand holding"

No one's looking to see a fully completed game, but 3D models or songs/SFX as examples of what you can do or have done goes a long way, else you're just an ideas guy.

Blender newbie here, following a tutorial

I think my problem is that I was afraid to go on steam with my other projects because I wanted it to be perfect. With this game, I don't care as much but the gimmick will still get publicity just because of memes. Even if I fail to do it right (greenlight->sales->get community->have happy players), I won't feel horrible because there's not so much of me in the game as there are stale memes.

I'm sure I'll learn a lot from all the mistakes I'll make trying to get greenlit and will be ready for when I release a real project dear to me (and having that 100$ taken care of will be one less obstacle too).

Finally added combos for the sword and spear to vary up the combat a little.

Also tied attack and frame speed to the agility statistic so the bigger it is the quicker your attacks are performed until a cap.

You can shoot at it and it will turn sideways and send smoke flying with an electrical *zzzzzap-boom* sound effect. You can also just build a wall under it and if it's high enough will also bump it and break it. The green number grows by 100M$ each brick you shoot and the number shakes more and more as the number goes up (gets a little crazy with a lot of bricks).

I'll be gone all day tomorrow and I wanted to implement chinese hole diggers that spawn a hole on your side of the wall and you have to close it or else asians come out. I also wanted to make iraki flying carpet drivers that you have to shoot down with your bricks since they ignore the wall (these should be pretty easy to make). I'm not sure if I'll be able to make all this AND promotional media AND trailer for the 4th but since I'm not posting a demo I guess it should be easy to make a short bits that fit what I need for the trailer.

Anyone ever do any work with minimaps? I've been thinking about how I might implement it though I'm not quite ready to start on it yet. There's a few ways it's typically done:

I just need to add sound and have the flying carpet actually destroy walls if it reaches them. I think I'll have them remove 3-5 levels off the hit wall. You'll have to shoot them down or else you either get large damage to one wall or you'll have one more illegal immigrant in your country.
